Today’s morning spasms— I mean workout is brought to you by an empty stomach and heavy metal. Had to speed it up because today was all about high volume and a lot of time under tension. Sore as hell from deadlifts but felt explosive and strong. Taking the time to sharpen up on technique is paying off. Keeping the 24kg going for the get ups damn near killed me though. 📝📝 Time to get SCHOOLED!! 😬😬 There is a HUGE difference between a #squat and a #deadlift ..... If your knees are “actively bending”, SURPRISE!!!!! its NOT a Deadlift... it’s a SQUAT. 💦 Generally speaking... Squats are legs/glutes assisting, but quads should take the hit here. 🏋🏻‍♀️ Deadlifts (doesn’t matter what kind: Romanian, Straight leg, dead weight, straight bar, hex bar, kettle bell, blahblahblah), are a HIP HINGE movement, so Glutes/hamstrings assisted, “some” back. Here is what SQUATS AND DEADLIFTS ARE NOT: ❌ NOT a sole Back Exercise ❌ NOT a stability drill ❌ NOT to see how HEAVY you can load 🤔 REMEMBER: NEVER LOAD a dysfunctional movement—- you WILL be injured eventually. 🗣 Common Cues: Activate the core, exhale on exertion, track the knees in a straight line, chest proud, shoulders down, and KNOW which muscle you are targeting 🎯 And for cryin out loud: don’t ever load so heavy your knees wobble during a rep. 😉 Questions? lil ab work last night on the yoga trapeze... important to remember that 1️⃣the goal is to have the swing and yourself remain as still as possible as your core crunches. this way, you know your core is the only thang bein worked; if you start to swing the trapeze, other parts of your body are doing work to help you crunch. very similar to doing a crunch lying on the ground- you want your core to lift you up rather than swing your arms for momentum. ALSO2️⃣knowing your breath is important in this strengthening exercise, along with every single other one. always focus to exhale on exertion and therefore inhale on the release. breath is everything and if you dont know that, find it out asap!!! #yoga #yogaeverydamnday #yogatrapeze #core #coreworkout #abworkout #mindful #exercise #breath

2. Kraft der Wurzel x zu Beginn bewusst zugelassene Pronation (nach Innen Knicken des Fußes) x Detailsicht der Verankerungssequenz (nach Außen drehen Fußsohlen) gleicht aktiv aus
3. Last in Linie x Beugen unterhalb 90 Grad x Pressatmung dient der Stabilität
4. Knie stabil den Fußspitzen folgend x leichte Verlagerung zu erkennen x kontrollierte Bewegungsführung

Die Kniebeuge bietet, wie bereits erwähnt, etliche Vorteile, die jeder googlen und noch viel lieber selbst erfahren sollte.
Am schlagensten sind wohl der nahezu ganzkörperliche Trainingseffekt und die, durch die Stimulation großer Muskelareale hervorrgerufenen, positiv wirkenden Reize für Körper und Geist. Im Fokus steht immer die stetige Übung der sauberen Ausführung & ich kann nur raten sich einmal Athleten im Kraftsport anzusehen, um sich die richtige Inspiration zu verschaffen.
Die schiere Last rückt aufgrund der oben beschriebenen, zu beachtenden Hinweise zunächst in den Hintergrund. Bitte beginne nur mit der Stange.
Die Variationsmöglichkeiten halten diese Grundübung zudem dauerhaft interessant 🏋🏻‍♂️

Life is a series of ups and downs. Trying to always stay on top is not only unrealistic, but absolutely unnatural. Everything is a cycle. Attaching to any of the seasons of those cycles is a recipe for suffering and unhappiness. Knowing this can help you relieve all the tension associated with feeling down, since you already know that after that there is no other way but going up. However, you must also be conscious and realistic enough to know that when you are up there is no other way than coming down. Don’t force the seasons of your life. Don’t try to smile when you must experience sadness. Honor your sadness, feel your anger, enjoy your joy and own every single emotion that’s in you. Moments, feelings, people and everything in between is temporary and so is your life and everyone else’s lives. Cultivate hope and bravery in the darkest times and gratitude and humility in the brightest times. Just remember that the darker it gets the brighter it’ll get afterwards; and viceversa.
