Check out these huge rhubarb leaves!!! We picked them fresh out of my sister's backyard. And then we made a delicious strawberry rhubarb crisp with it!
I have been enjoying sooo many fresh fruits & veggies from local farmer's markets and the garden I helped plant with my boyfriend's mom. From potatoes, to cabbage (sauerkraut round 2 here I come), kale, rainbow swiss chard, lettuce, zuchinni, beans, corn, cucumbers, carrots, peas, beets, tomatoes, squash, pumpkin, ....you name it and we planted it!! I'm also super excited for the apricots to ripen on my tree, probably in 3-4 weeks. Then I can make more jam! 🍑
Nothing beats the taste of fresh food and I love supporting local markets. It's part of the reason I love summer so much (the warm weather helps too 🌞).
