What's a girl supposed to do without avocados for her fav breakfast: avocado toast - HUMMUS TOAST!!! yes it's as good as it sounds and it makes for a delicious and filling post workout brekkie😋



📌dEATails: combined chickpeas, tahini, lime juice, salt, pepper and cumin and mashed it all together then stirred through some green chili peppers, smushed it onto a piece of toasted @waitrose German rye bread and topped it with some shredded baby spinach for garnish cause I'm a fancy gal😂

Das heißt so viel wie: Während du schöne Pläne schmiedest, macht das Leben gerade was es will. Es lässt sich nicht in eine To-Do Liste pressen.

Versteh uns nicht falsch: Wir sind absolut für klare Strukturen, aber manchmal solltest du das Leben so nehmen wie es kommt. .
Denk doch mal zurück: An welche Geschichten erinnerst du dich am deutlichsten? Sicherlich nicht die strukturierte Abarbeitung deiner Job-To-Do Liste. .
Viel eher fällt dir doch ein, als du damals bei einer Radausfahrt deinen jetzigen Mann kennen gelernt hast und ihr euch spontan für’s Kino verabredet habt. Als du dich mit deinen Freunden ins Auto gesetzt hast und einfach mal fürs Frühstück nach Paris gefahren bist. Das sind die Stories, die schillernd in unserer Erinnerung bleiben.
Also – ein Appell – sei heute mal ganz spontan (Hey, es ist Wochenende!). Es muss nicht gleich das Frühstück in Paris sein. Wie wäre es mit:
einer Nacht im Zelt im Garten

Alkalising ⚖️
.
Alkalising is based oh the chemistry pH scale that ranges from 0-14, 0= extreme acid , 7 = neutral , 14 = extreme alkaline.
.
We are born with a blood pH of 7.35-7.45, which is slightly alkaline and the body wants to maintain this balance at all times for optimum health. A good analogy is thinking of your body like the water in a pool. If the pool water is acidic, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, turn green and won’t be a safe place to swim. If the pool is to acidic you can add chemicals to bring it back to a more balanced alkaline level which is safe to swim in. Human blood is essential the same, except, instead of chemicals; it is food & lifestyle factors that determine our alkaline balance.

Despite a high intake of acid forming foods, the bloodstream will still remain it’s 7.35-7.45 pH balance. Why is that?
The blood pH does not actually change; however, it is what the body has to do to maintain this balance that can create all of the problems. If there aren’t enough alkaline forming foods in the diet, then the body will steal from it’s own reserve of alkaline minerals, such as calcium, potassium, sodium & magnesium within the bones and the body tissue to counterbalance this and keep the blood pH stable.

Why is this important? If the blood becomes too acidic, then it will instantly damage many of the major organs it’s flowing through, including the brain. Unfortunately, this can leave tissues, fluids, bones & joints of the body in acidic conditions, with the result that they become a potential breeding ground for disease, illness, inflammation and bone, teeth & muscle decay.

Some symptoms of acidosis are tiredness, weight gain, sleep problems, inflammation, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis, gout, obesity & cancer. .
How to add alkaline forming foods into your daily meal plan:
.
Eat a rich amount of dark, leafy greens each day. Top choices include kale, collard greens, Swiss chard, spinach, bok choy, and romaine lettuce. Eat a diet based on vegetables and fruits. If eating meat, eat wholesome, lean, organic meat only. Reduce your overall grain consumption and consume real, whole grains. Reduce or entirely avoid diary
