Not every day is easy. Not every workout is easy. But then again, changing your life isn’t easy either. *
I’ll be honest that these last two days haven’t been easy for me. And I haven’t been giving my best. But as I’m sitting here watching everyone’s Instagram stories from Summit I can’t help but feel fired up and motivated. Before I couldn’t find my motivation to get my sweat on but now I’m ready to throw myself into it. I do part of what I do for the community! These girls make me push myself harder and I couldn’t be happier to have that.
All I have to say is 🤬 Cardio Flow. I seriously HATE that workout. I know, hate is a strong word - and I mean every bit of it.
I had to pause so many times today. My wrists and hands hurt, my heart was pounding, I couldn’t breathe. I had so many reasons I kept telling myself of why I could quit. But if we quit every time something gets hard or uncomfortable - where would that leave us?
I’ll tell you one thing - it won’t make us BETTER.
I want to be better. I want to be stronger.

Story time! In January, we had a flood at our house. I turned on the dishwasher and left to pick up the kids from school. By the time we got back, water was stretched from the kitchen into the living room, and flooding into the basement. 😭😭. It was epic. We had to rip out all the drywall and carpet from our basement, replace flooring on the main floor, etc. ad nauseam —- and then our home insurance dropped us! First two pics show part of the destroyed basement.*
We love to make lemonade out of 🍋 all up in here, though. Almost 6 months later, and after lots of work from a fabulous contractor, we are rebuilt (and we found some new home insurance lol) Making things better than they were Pre Flood! We moved the office upstairs so we can move the gym from the garage to the basement. Swipe left for phase 1 of the basement gym — now complete. Floors are down and mirrors are in. Now, we just need to move in the equipment...that’ll be a good workout in itself!! 😂😂. I can’t wait to start coaching and training down here. No more freezing/ boiling workouts!! #rebuilding#renovations#betterthanbefore#basementgym
I am always trying to be the best version of me that I can possibly be. So with that I like to start each week with some goals. Things I want to improve on in every aspect of my wellbeing. Food, fitness, habits.. I love lists, I love goals, I love working on myself. It’s been a great addition to my week!
This week - Work on my handstand push ups eeeveryday! I have a new love for being upside down so being able to do some handstand push-ups is freaking exciting. This is day one of me taking it seriously. Let’s see where I will be in a week. - Try a new recipe! Dinner or some form of baking. - No using my phone after dinner.
Only 2 more weeks til our big trip. Let’s smash some goals 👊🏼
