Last one for a little while. What a difference time of day and temperature makes! No humidity and a brisk 13 degrees. First proper 10km of the summer with my #camelback. Aimed for a time of 90 minutes at the start. When I got to 5km, changed it to 75 minutes. At 8km, changed it to 65 minutes. Aiming for sub-60 by mid August. Motivational messages from my long distance unofficial trainer helped.
Might have been faster if I didnt have to dodge all the #squirrels and #bunnies

Smell is the most direct way you can influence your limbic system. It’s an ancient part of your survival system. Our first line of defence. We would smell the tiger before we heard or saw it.
This is why smell Is such a powerful motivator. If a threatening smell reaches our nose, it rises to the limbic (or emotional) part of our brain and jump start the flight or fight response.
So we can use this same system to calm our fears and settle our sympathetic nervous system down again.
There is a whole range or group of Oils that are considered calming. Lavender is the most widely used for this purpose. It is one of the foundational oils that every home should have and has many applications that make it one of the most well known and widely used oils.

Go the [email protected]* to sleep & stay the [email protected]* asleep!!!
We have had a shocker of a week with Sam and waking up this week, I've forgot what it feels like to sleep comfortably without a little hand slapping me in my face.
I was trying so many different blends but nothing was working until.......
Last night I stumbled across this one & my God it worked!!! 🙌
It's safe to say I'll be using it again tonight
1 drop each of cederwood, patchouli, balance & roman chamomile
3 drops lavender peace
2 drops wild orange
What blends work for your kids to keep them asleep?
