There are heaps ’n’ oodles of reasons to eat nuts 🥜

They’re chockfull of nutrients, healthy fats, fiber, and they taste flippin’ delicious, too!

But nuts…

LOL, “but nuts” 🍑🥜 👈😆

Anywho, nuts do pose a problem for dieters — they’re incredibly calorie dense!

See, other healthy whole foods like fruits 🍎 & veggies 🥒 don’t pack a buttload of calories per serving, which makes it difficult to eat too many and, consequently, over-consume calories...

Nuts are a whole different story. Them suckers are DENSE.

For example, one serving of almonds (1 ounce or ~23 pieces) has 164 calories. And as you can see, one serving isn’t much. Typically, folks are grabbing 2-3x that amount and end up shoveling down 400-500+ calories for a “healthy snack.”

So what’s a struggling dieter to do? 🤷‍♂️

Almonds, and other nuts, are definitely healthy. And if you enjoy them, I encourage you to include them in your diet.

Just remember that “healthy fats” are still fats, and fats are very calorie-dense (9 calories per gram 😮), so make sure you’re aware of how much you’re eating 🐿👍

The misconception is that it takes a buttload of time ⏰, sweat 💦, and effort 😓 to prepare healthy weight loss friendly meals… but that couldn't be further from the truth! ⠀
Take it from me. I’m a 23-year-old guy 🙋‍♂️ living in the city.

Do you *really* think I'm sitting around chopping up parsley 🔪🍃 and tenderizing chicken breasts 👏 to make gourmet restaurant-style dishes?

Hell no! 🙅‍♂️

My cooking skills are limited to pressing buttons on a microwave, violently ripping open packages, and using plastic spatulas (and even that can get messy if I'm not careful 🤦‍♂️)...

All that’s why I like to stick to convenient & easy-to-cook foods, and my three favorites are:

1. frozen veggies
2. precooked protein sources
3. microwave ready rice

These three foods are a staple in my diet, especially the frozen veggies and minute rice. For protein, I either cooked in bulk and reheat as needed OR I buy precooked packets like Tyson's Grilled & Ready Chicken.

THE BOTTOM LINE ✅: You don't have to be Gordon Ramsay or some other master chef to whip up healthy, weight loss friendly meals 👨‍🍳❌

Instead, you just need to do a bit of planning to find foods that you enjoy, are convenient, and stupid-easy enough to prepare that my friend George (—>🐒) could do it!

Yesterday I "binged" on #strawberries 😅 Maybe 1 hour after breakfast me and my dad went grocery shopping and they had these local strawberries - really red and pretty and really, REALLY sweet and my dad bought like tons of it. Before taking a seat in the car my dad asked me if I want to eat some while we're driving back home and handed me one box (I think each box has 500g of strawberries). He is the best btw, I love my dad, thanks for always taking care of me. After a few minutes they were gone 😅😅😅 And after arriving home I had a few more 😝 So I... guess I had around 700g of strawberries... at least? (Which would be 224 kcal). OH, I can't WAIT for strawberry picking! 💕 .

🍮150KCAL PUDDING RECIPE🍮
🇺🇸This week I often posted a picture of pudding but in reality I made 3 pudding in one day so I had to publish the pictures of 3😂
But here is the last and for this one I chose to make a @kinderbueno_official version🍫with some peanuts🥜& yoghurt🥛for some extra proteins💪🏼

After going a little too crazy with the grazing table at a 21st last night 😂😂 this morning had to be a killer session! HIIT sprints, triceps/shoulders, boxing and an ab circuit later, I had hit my move goal of 500 calories by 11am. Feeling extremely satisfied with my workouts this week! After switching things up as I felt my love for the gym dying down, I can honestly say it is back to being the best part of my day. Love trying new things and challenging my body every day.
