Paisley wasn't feeling to good last Tuesday. I'll spare you the details but my poor baby girl was SICK. After trying all the normal at-home tips to help a dog's tummy feel better, we had to make the call to take her to the vet. I was anxious because this was the first time I'd seen her this sick. I prayed, I rode it the back with her because I wanted her to feel nurtured and loved. As we rode in the car, despite her terrible day of tummy troubles and discomfort she was still able to push through and crack a smile while enjoying the car ride. She loves car rides and in her booster seat she can safely see out the window and watch the cars and scenery. Honestly, it kind of inspired me. This precious silly dog, has never been this sick and I'm sure she was uncomfortable but she still was able to appreciate the little things. Trust me, I've had my tough days and it's often easier to be mopey and cranky when I don't feel good. But, maybe I need to adopt an attitude of appreciation like my Paisley and enjoy things more even when I'd rather be a stick in the mud. Also, Paisley is fine. She was given some subcutaneous fluids, good meds and supplements. By the next day, she was her sassy energetic self and attempting to eat everything in sight. #pugsofinstagram#dogsofinstagram#pug#dogboosterseat
My new car safety booster seat has arrived. Of course, when Mommy let me try it in the house, Penelope hopped in. 🐷🐖 She follows me everywhere!! Today I plan to celebrate National Wiggle Your Toes Day by playing "This Little Piggy" with her. . . If I can find her toes. 😉😄
Happy InstaHAM Monday! .
