I’m fasting today. I did it a bit before I went to the uk and I noticed how good I felt, but then I stopped.
I feel like my body is crying out for me to do it again. It’s easy for me to talk myself out of it. “I’ll never last”, “I’ll feel faint”, “I’ve got no willpower”. All of the above is totally true if I let it be. But fasting doesn’t have to be insanely difficult. And you can build yourself up. Last time I did intermittent fasting where I only ate between 11am and 7pm. It was pretty easy. This time I’m stretching myself a bit more, only a 4 hour window, 2-6pm (or 3-7 on days I work later). Today is day 1. It’s 1.30pm. I’ve used my Smart & Sassy (also known as Slim & Sassy) oil twice and I’ve felt fine. Hungry? Yes, but not uncomfortably so. Faint? No. No willpower? That’s even ok because I know I can eat in half an hour.
