3 weeks 😭😭😭 Seriously it feels like yesterday I was pregnant with this little man and now we're getting everything ready to pack him off to school.

When people tell you it flies, it really does!!! When you are lost in those moments of despair because your baby won't sleep, you don't know why they're crying and you're so sleep deprived you feel like a deranged psycho, there honestly will come a time you want those moments back. I never thought I'd say that. I've had times of complete despair and overwhelm where I never thought I'd get through the day, let alone get to the point where this little man was off to school.

He made me a Mummy for the first time and has taught me so many lessons that I will be forever grateful for. We have learnt how to be Mummy and son together, we have taught each other how to be patient, how to be grateful, how to talk about our feelings, how to find joy and happiness in the smallest of things, most of all though I've been taught a whole new level of love I never knew existed.

Please stop growing baby boy 💙🙏🏻😢 I know you have to, please don't do it so fast though. I know you are ready for school and your next chapter, Mummy is not quite there though.
I'm sure after the first week I'll be racing to get him to school 🙊 honestly though I'm grateful for every single moment with this little man 💙💙💙 Our children really are our biggest gifts 🎁

Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how easy nutrition is for you) abs are made in the kitchen 🍳 I think eggs are my FAVOURITE breakfast food served ☝ with some potatoes and half serving vanilla shake 😍 made by @kylemuschik
I have always been a firm believer that protien for breakfast is the best for you aaaand my body loves it too! Everyones body and metabolism are different, but all diets are hard guidelines 📝 if you're lacking energy or craving carbs or sugars than something may be missing from your diet.

I have and still struggle with #nutrition because I have always been a over eater! I each too much of anything. I spent years eating till I felt sick 😷 I thought that is what full felt like (can't move, want to vomit full). When I first started my new nutitrion program I felt like my tummy was empty, false hunger ALL the time BUT it was because I needed to reteach my body, show MY MIND what being full, energized and balanced out felt like. 3 months later I feel I finally learned control! Control on being able to say no to fast foods (timmies, pizza or Wendy's burgers) when I indulge in cheat meal it because I choose to NOT because I couldn't say no, NOT because I couldn't stand the craving because I HAD the WILL power. .

NOT all shoes are created equal 💡
I can’t say enough how having a fitted pair of running shoes has made training for races that much better. The dreaded ankle pain and massive blisters that I had experienced with previous running shoes honestly made me wonder if I would be able to keep up with the mileage of a program 😭I thought well, a shoes a shoe right? Wrong! They are made to support you differently then cross training or casual sneakers. My recommendations👇🏻
🏃🏻‍♀️buy them early in training! Don’t race on brand new shoes, like anything you need to be comfortable with them. 🏃🏻‍♀️ find a local shoe store/ I went to fleet feet and had them take measurements of my foot to match me with certain brands of shoes to try on. 🏃🏻‍♀️take your time picking them out, they let you run outside around the store usually so do it! Make sure they feel good. 🏃🏻‍♀️lastly, comfort over cuteness. Yes, most want the most aesthetic shoe we can find but go with what feels good! Close your eyes and try them on lol that’s what I had to do anyway! You’re buying them for a specific purpose!

Good morning! Here’s last nights dinner lol 😂 Honey lime glazed shrimp (pan seared) and brown rice! .

Ingredients:
-1 serving of shrimp -1 lime
-honey -1 cup of brown rice

To make the glaze, you’ll take a table spoon of honey, and two tablespoons of lime juice and combine them in a bowl, I just painted on the shrimp after I took them out of the pan! .

All you really need to do is cook the shrimp, glaze the shrimp and dump them into a bowl of rice

Using the ingredients I used it comes to: 360 calories for just the rice and shrimp, 3 grams of fat, 0 sat fat, 44 carbs, 5 grams of sugar and 27 grams of protein! For the glaze it’s 72 calories, no fat, no sat fat, 20.3 carbs, 17.75 grams of sugar and .6 grams protein (I didn’t use all of the glaze though just painted a little on)
