Eating 5 servings of vegetables, pulses and fruit every day means being on the right path to a healthy diet. Of course, next to carbohydrate-rich and high-protein foods.
Recommended are 3 servings of vegetables / legumes (1 serving raw) and 2 servings of fruit.
One serving of fruit equals 125 - 150 g or 200 ml vegetable or fruit juice.
A serving of vegetables corresponds to cooked 200 - 300 g, raw 100 - 200 g, as salad 75 - 100 g and for leguminous raw approx. 70 - 100 g, cooked approx. 150 - 200 g.
Without scale, no problem! Its hard for me to remember the values and I hate scales: A clenched fist corresponds to a portion of fruit, vegetables or legumes.
There was a time when I used to hate mushrooms. I used to turn around just by looking at it, tasting it was far from possible. I don't remember when it happened or what made me do it, but now mushrooms have become one of my favorite toppings!
I recently visited this Cafe in #vadodara to try their food. With good food, good ambiance and interior, this place surpassed my expectations!
Love mushrooms? Then you've got to try this dish at #teavillacafe
Mushrooms topped on whole wheat bread and loaded with cheese, this dish was too good. A recommended one.
