Learn to love yourself first, from there strength, confidence and self assurance flourish and when you’re happy in your own company, you don’t depend on anyone or anything, you set the tone for how others should treat you, you’re quick to recognise what’s acceptable and what’s not and you make room for the right things to come your way. Love yourself, know your worth, be kind, be happy. Have a great weekend.
I was really hesitant about posting this photo, purely because I had another, which I didn’t like nearly as much - no pink flowers, which didn’t capture the blemish on my cheek. However, blemishes are real and this was only further highlight by those gorgeous pink flowers and pink smoothie. Those pink lips are stained from the delightful Berry & Beetroot Smoothie -recipe from @nourishbyrebecca I swapped the banana for apple as I can’t eat nanas. 🍌
My skin is a hundred times better than it was this time last year. A combination of good skin products and trying my very best to calm myself each day, drink bucket loads of water and avoid gluten. Instead of focusing on my face as a whole now, I end up focusing on individual spots or blemishes. No matter how we look, there will always be parts we don’t like very much. Embrace those parts the most and give yourself all the love. Very few people will actually notice those parts, if anyone at all, because everyone is too busy looking at their phones. 😉 Unless of course, you decide to point it out to the world on social media, in which case everyone will notice but somehow, for some reason, you’ll let go of that hang up a little bit. It may even become something rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things. 🤓
