Clip from a reenactment done awhile back for the Virtua fighter series. This one is called soto makikomi. Like most makikomi techniques, they are fun to do, but care and control needs to be maintained in order to reduce the chance of injury. Proper training is also required. Solution? Go train at a legit school/dojo. Oss..
I was just walking back to the office thinking of ways I could help a friend that has stepped into a new business venture. As I thought of ways I could somehow contribute, it dawned on me: why am I not doing this for MYSELF?! I have a character flaw. I put others needs ahead of my own and I let life get away from me. My self awareness is apt enough to know this is a tool I utilize to keep me from looking inward. There is alot in there, trust me! However; if I know this is happening and I'm aware of its creepy little fucker tendency to get its job done, why have I not changed it yet? Why do I continue to throw other people's needs ahead of my own the closer I get to achieving my personal goals?
Let's be real, if you know me you know I've had MASSIVE changes in my life recently. Changes I'm honestly still finding ways to adapt too in my everyday life. And more change is on the horizon.
Today I make a promise to myself. I promise to make myself a priority. My writing. My martial arts. My family. My health. My heart!
Here is to making a promise to yourself that you ACTUALLY KEEP!

Here are a few more people and moments that are important to who I am as a person today. I cherish them more than words will allow.
Ok friends, I need a bit of a favor. Tag the best mma or combat sports pages on Instagram for a friend. Can't be bothered to list them for him and this way, maybe I'll find some gems too. Thank you very much 🤙😊😘🌟
