4/5 Stars! Ok...I was never a big vinaigrette fan but this is super good. Greek Vinaigrette from Aldi. The sodium count is 1% and I mixed in a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese (3%) and poured over a salad with grilled chicken. The texture of the dressing was thick and delicious...the consistency was pretty close to the dressing on a nice garlic roll...yum! #lowsalt#nosalt#nosaltadded
Convenience meals don’t have to be high in sodium. Tonight I warmed up two cans of #nosaltadded veggies and @aldiusa#glutenfree raviolis. In under 10 minutes I had a meal with less than 250mg sodium and a happy heart 😍

More often than not, although the person, circumstances and breed may vary, the story is similar. Particularly with rescues.

Ground beef, bit of chopped onion, spoon of minced garlic, colorful bell peppers, ¼ cup of red quinoa, ¼ cup of black beans seasoned with nutritional yeast, cayenne pepper and black pepper. Paired with ½ cup of cottage cheese. 🍽💕
Love cooking on this meal plan!! There are challenges that come with not adding salt, like where does the flavor come from?? BUT GUESS WHAT! There IS flavor! Once I got used to not adding salt, I started to be able to taste the natural flavors of foods so much clearer because of the natural sodium. It feels so good to eat clean, and give my body what it wants and needs. 🌤
Turkey Bolognese over Whole Wheat Rigatoni! 4/5 Stars. Super hearty and pretty darn good. Sauté onions, mushrooms and whatever veggies you like then ground turkey meat. Add no salt seasoning and brown. Drain fat from ground turkey and mix in sautéed veggies. Add low salt tomato sauce, let simmer and BAM! You’ve got it going on. Pour pasta in bowl and top with your hearty creation and enjoy!! #lowsalt#nosalt#nosaltadded
It is recommended to prepare food for baby with no salt or very little salt. Not only is this better for their health, they will learn to enjoy the natural flavours of food and may have less of a taste for salt later in life.
Avoiding salt for baby often means replacing processed foods with #wholefoods and cooking from scratch. I know #aintnobodygottimeforthat, but cooking from scratch does not have to be difficult or time consuming, I promise! I'm a #realisticRD (most of us are!) and #tiredmom, together we can conquer mealtimes and still have time for a shower 🚿
Most canned/jarred pasta sauces have A LOT of salt, so I made a quick meat sauce from scratch for Grayson's first taste of the wonderful world of pasta! Swipe ⬅️ for the recipe and adapting it for baby. You can add onions, garlic and fresh herbs to take this recipe up a notch, but I promised quick and easy 😌

Chicken Cacciatore: 5/5 Stars! When you’re hungry...this is the meal. Sauté onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. Chop up chicken breast into bite sized morsels. Mix together with some no salt seasoning and low salt tomato sauce and a just a sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese and you’ve got an extremely hardy meal. Sometimes I’ll throw in a little whole wheat pasta or just go carb free. Either way...it’s a strong dish. #lowsalt#nosaltadded#nosalt
