Posing is something I lack in this sport, and something that can be fixed with some effort put to it. Ive set a little posing room up, in my house. It’s also where I do my morning cardio and it’s actually very beneficial to wake up in the morning and just walk to the next room instead of driving 15 minutes to the gym. 💪🏽

Food choices are a very personal matter. You have no idea what is going through a person’s head regarding the foods they choose to eat. They could have a very unhealthy relationship with food or even disordered eating and negative comments regarding their food choices could do more harm than you might realize. Further, what if that overweight person enjoying that slice of cake worked their butt off in the gym all week, nailed their healthy eating and food prep, lost 3 lbs this week, feeling great about their progress so far, and actually carefully worked that piece of cake into their nutrition plan for the week ... using tools and strategies given to them by their coach? Unless you are their nutrition coach or they have asked you specifically to hold them accountable, it’s none of your business.

My rehab continues. I’m learning new motions of my hip since my injury didn’t allow me do do more then 60 degree. The range of motion is definitely much bigger and now easily I can do 90 degrees. Still can’t lift weights for next 4 months for healing purpose but so far I don’t feel any pain any more in my right hip and lower back. Sometimes you have take one or even two steps back to regain your best after. I always was taking Arnold Schwarzenegger’s advice, “ DON’T BE AFRAID TO FAIL” and I’m not. I actually don’t feel anymore like I’m failing, I feel like I’m getting reborn and getting stronger again.

Let's talk about hydration.
It's no secret that water is responsible for a multitude of important processes in our body (which is made up of 60-70% of water by the way).

Most of you have probably heard the rule of thumb to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day.
However, this is a super generic recommdation and actual recommended daily intake highly varies depending on your height, weight and physical activity.
.
Where there is no magic formula to find out how much you need to drink, a slightly better guide is taking your body weight in pounds and dividing it by 2. This gives you the recommended amount in ounces (e.g. bodyweight 130:2=65 ounces).
Another pointer is the color of your urine which should be a light yellow.
.
On that note: there IS such a thing as drinking too much. This would result in a less than optimal nutrient uptake and over-hydration (electolytes are being watered down etc.). I used to think the more water the better, but that is certainly not the case!

There are a number of apps that allow you to count your fluid intake very easily (e.g.water tracker). Make sure to include coffee (has been proven not to be a diuretic), tea, juices...
Give it a go even just for a few days to see where you are at and make adjustments accordingly 😉👍.
