SUNDAY "GAYLE ON THE GO!" The Roots of Monozukuri: Creative Spirit in Japanese Automaking
Petersen Automotive Museum
One of the world’s largest automotive museums, the Petersen Automotive Museum has more than a dozen rare vehicles featured featured in its new exhibition entitled THE ROOTS OF MONOZUKURI: CREATIVE SPIRIT IN JAPANESE AUTOMAKING.
Petersen Automotive Museum Chief Historian Leslie Kendall says until now, no American exhibit has adequately explored the associated synthesis of Eastern and Western automobile manufacturing philosophies and methods.
Petersen Automotive Museum #PETERSENAUTOMOTIVEMUSEUM
One of the coolest buildings in Los Angeles on the Miracle Mile. Not sure if you knew (because I drove around without a clue for a while) but it’s actually a really really cool car museum and not just a great backdrop for IG influencers. I don’t even like cars all that much, but I was fascinated by the place. The museum featured classic cars complete with a tribute to their deign plus some really interesting exhibits that feature the cars used in movies like the VW van from Little Miss Sunshine, the Delorean (complete with flux capacitor) from Back to the Future and then an underground vault collection that hosts priceless collectibles from a one-of-a-kind Rolls Royce and even a Popemobile.
