Lesson for everything: There is absolutely nothing wrong with modification. As long as you keep moving (figuratively and physically) you’re going somewhere. It’s crazy that today completes week 5 of this program and the next wave of new teammates are starting Monday! It’s also crazy how much we’ve found ourselves capable of throughout the weeks. Our bodies are changing, our mindset is changing, weights are getting heavier and we’re all embracing recovery days, especially since we get 3 of them a week! You do not need to “hit it hard” all the time, you don’t need to workout hours a day and you don’t even need to do it every single day, although I like to because it’s so damn fun! Like I said before: keep moving. You’re worth it. All of it. -
Relax there’s a woman on the job!
I stayed up until 3 am this morning finishing up a painting and then woke up at 5:30 am to hang up said paintings.(don’t worry I’m about to nap after I post this)
I’m a busy lady with a full time day job as a department manager and a coaching business that is soon to be my solo full time gig. On top of my two jobs I volunteer at a local radio station, that I will be having my first DJ set on sometime next month. In October I’ll be volunteering at my favorite film festival for the third year in a row. I’m Working on building my coaching website to get my page verified on Instagram. Soon a YouTube channel with my partner is coming, where we will be documenting our relationship as well as our journey of conception. I’m starting to get into modeling for art projects. And lastly I’m in the very infancy stages of working with a ghost writer on a book about my life that will eventually be a graphic novel. I’ve got a lot going for me and I wouldn’t want it any other way! The one thing that I absolutely have to point out though; I make my health and fitness priority number one. I work out every morning before my work day because, at the very least, if things don’t go according to plan or whatever, I at least took care of me. This is how I maintain sanity and balance in this busy life! Part of my fitness isn’t just working out and eating vegetables. It also includes personal development and constantly working on my mindset muscle, just like any muscle in your body, once you get it in shape you have to keep maintaining and challenging it! -
I’m not “hardcore” I just care about how I spend my time in this life and in this body. I’m just a regular person! It’s so hard for me to talk to people and hear them say they don’t have time or money to invest in themselves. I call bullshit. You absolutely do, you’re just letting other shit get in the way. -
