Bench compilation!💥💥💥 Last two weeks I managed to hit 100kg/220lbs 3 sessions in a row! And on the third session I finally pressed 102.5kg/224.8lbs (vid 4) for the first time in like forever. Not in the video is also me fistbumping my spotter and slamming my wristwraps on the ground from happiness. 💃🏻 I’ve come to love the bench more than ever over the last couple of months. I’m taking more satisfaction from the movement and the feel of the lift, feeling a lot less frustration with the numbers. Making progress slowly but steadily. I do need to make my pauses more convincing, but anyway, this was fun for me. 😋🎋
Besides the program, I think what has helped most is the cue ”push through” (put more intention behind the lift) and figuring out how to empty my head while setting up (as opposed to before where I used to get a lot of negative thoughts before a big lift.) I am itching to compete again. 😬

I haven't lifted anything heavy in foreva (nothing impressive enough to upload) and he's made changes to what feels like errrryting with my technique on all 3 lifts.
Soooo excited to see where we are heading!
