You will only discover you can do something if you're willing to give it a try, not be afraid to fail or have set backs and be prepared to give it another go, and another, to get it right.
A #goal should be specific to you as an individual. It should not matter what someone else can or cannot do, it is your goal because it is what YOU want to achieve.
To be able to sets of full pull-ups is a goal I set for myself a couple of weeks ago. It's something I've always wanted to be able to do and as I work hard to feel better, both physically and mentally within myself, I'm slowly getting there every day.
This is my #pullup attempts over a ten day period. There's still a way to go but I'm much closer than I was two weeks ago.
If you want something enough, you'll keep trying and trying until you make it happen 💪🏼💜 #believe

✅ Stress and Your Body, By Robert Sapolsky. Amazing audiobook. Thought we’d share the 3 major talking points we got out of it. If they are unclear or you’d like more clarification comment/message us. 🔴 60% of doctors visits are stress related, and social visits are great to release stress. People need friends and community to talk and bitch about their problems, just like baboons need to groom each other after a lion scare. 🔵 The worse career in life for stress is one of low control and high demand and no passion. It is always thought that a CEO is stressed out, but they have high control and passion therefore they are okay, it is somebody overloaded with work, who has no control or interest in their job and has to ask their boss permission to go to the bathroom and gets told no who is at greatest risk! ⚫️ A giant stress predictor is your socioeconomic rank, but even more deciding is who you are comparing yourself to. If you are aiming up and never satisfied well you are going to make your lowly position feel much worse.

This is knowledge to think about and hopefully it helps you uncover some areas that could be better. A stress free life is a good life ✌️

Com o inverno dando as caras por aqui (o Solstício de inverno acontece agora dia 21, caso você esteja curioso!), eu sinto que minhas preferências e vontades em relação aos alimentos mudam bastante.

O friozinho faz a gente querer comidas quentinhas e com um pouco mais de “sustança”.
Pra quem se interessa pela Medicina Ayurvédica, tradicional indiana, o inverno intensifica nossas características “Vata”, que se relacionam ao frio, ressecamento da pele, medo, pensamento aéreo e ansiedade.
Uma maneira de amenizar esses efeitos seria o aumento no consumo de alimentos quentes e úmidos, entre os quais os tubérculos (batatas, mandioca, mandioquinha) e as castanhas, e a diminuição no consumo de alimentos frios e secos, como vegetais crus.

Tô falando pra não comer nem uma folhinha de alface sequer e passar o inverno à base de batata? Não, jovem. Tô falando pra prestar atenção às suas vontades: o corpo sempre sabe o que comer pra se manter equilibrado.

E hoje? Vai comer uma saladinha no jantar porque tá com vontade ou porque tá no “script”? Já pensou em trocar os legumes crus pelos cozidinhos, pra manter o verde no prato nesse inverno?

There are a few ways to naturally increase progesterone levels.
- Vitamin C has been shown to increase progesterone in women with low levels. - Chasteberry (Vitex) increases the release of luteinising hormone from the pituitary, which raises progesterone and normalises the second half of the menstrual cycle. It also helps to increase sensitivity of progesterone receptors. - Reduce caffeine. Caffeine boosts energy temporarily by raising cortisol. However, high cortisol can block progesterone receptors: your daily caffeine fix may be decreasing the ability of your progesterone to bind to its receptor and do its job.
