So proud of this woman! After battling with Hormonal Imbalances and Adrenal Fatigue for 18 months, she is seeing the light again! She has her energy back and is loving being able to push herself in her workouts.
Today she did her first brick workout since 2016! Maybe we’ll be able to line up at a local triathlon this season after all! ;) P.S. only 102 days till our wedding @aseigruber
I'm in love with cities ,i've never been and to people i've never met 💙😉
Swimming is 100% about re-living a childhood dream. I grew up doing swimming from the earliest age, went in my first swim club race at eight years old and was interested in not much else. As a delusional child I thought I could be an Olympic swimmer from training just a few times a week. However, as a child I never did the volume of training I do now (due to various reasons) and my times were fairly average (with the exception of 50m Breaststroke where I made a couple of state qualifying times). At Galston swim club in the late 1990s and early 2000s I felt like an outsider because I was really shy and not one of the elite kids. In December 2015, after 10 years away from swimming (during which time I didn’t even swim a single lap) I decided to go back and see if I could still compete in swimming. I was so unfit and it was such hard work but I realised technique wise swimming never left me, it is like second nature. There is one main factor which has driven me to keep training, to not accept any excuses from myself and to give this everything, and that is the failed childhood dream. Yes, the opportunities and experiences are different as a adult but that doesn’t matter. My main goal was to be faster as an adult than a child, which I started doing about a year ago. It is a very personal goal, to be the best swimmer I have ever been. Now I am President of CHRSL swim club, which is made up of the friendliest people ever, I don’t feel like an outsider. The involvement and committee roles I’ve had for this swim club have changed my life. After so many moments as a child of feeling second best, I had my moment and one of them was on Sunday. #swim#swimday#swimming#swimfast#swimmer#swimday#swimlove#swimlife#instaswim#swimtime#swimswim#swimteam#swimclub#weekend#weekendvibes#sunday#sundayevening#fitfam#fittime#fit#fitspo#fitspiration#fitgirl#fitnessaddict#fitnessblogger#keepgoing#keeptraining#nikerunning#nike#fitfamily
#TBT The first time I posted this was in late 2015 and it still has a place in my current aquatic practice... Enjoy!
This is one of my favorite Freestyle drills/teaching techniques. The poor man's #endlesspool. I usually use it as a cool down after sprint sets but it is a great way to get familiar with stroke timing.
I’ve been very busy constructing this little piece of swim suit for an infant. 😇👶🏼 ✂️ Fortunately, it was left in my hands for another day, so I can play with it a bit more before Shipping. ✈️ Anyways, that’s why I’m sharing the pic. 📱
I saw these Little Mermaid buttons and of course I thought they’d be a great detail to add to the theme. 🧜♀️ This is the front bottom of the swim suit.
I’ll be posting the back later, and tomorrow I’ll post the top. 🏊♂️ 🧜♀️✂️👙
