Happy Tea Tuesday! Enjoying some green tea sips before we leave Florence and drive out to Montepulciano. I’m a little stressed about driving in Italy, but looking forward to driving through the Chianti countryside. #jnhitaly#florence#teatuesday#enjoyeverysip#italy
It's Tea-Tuesday! Don't be scared by the name, this is our green tea.
Green tea has more health benefits than black tea which can be attributed to its lack of processing. It's higher in antioxidants which are known to protect the body against disease and are an important part of a healthy diet (@bbcgoodfood)
I have an admission. I’m a bit of a politics nerd. I take an interest in following our nation’s politics, because what happens in Canberra affects the lives of real people, has effects on our flora and fauna, and the world in which we live.
It has been a big day in Australian politics! I have spent much of it on the couch, with our foster greyhound Bella by my side, trying to rest whilst also watching the #libspill news unfold.
When it came time for question time, I decided I needed a cuppa to enjoy whilst I watch the debacle that was sure to ensue in the House of Representatives. Today, I picked an old favourite, Nerada Organics Chai Teabags (served with Bonsoy soy milk, and local organic honey). These teabags bring me back to many afternoon teas shared with my best friends on campus at University. It reminds me of home baked brownies and wonderful conversations. It is also a delicious tea.
Nerada Organic Chai teabags are made with certified organic ingredients. In general, we are not huge fans of bagged tea. We feel that leaf tea is a better option both in terms of flavour & environmental impact. Not all tea bags are made equal, however. Most tea bags are made primarily out of plastic & non-degradable materials. Nerada teabags, however, are completely compostable. They are made from 98% natural fibres & are oxygen whitened, without the use of chlorine or chlorine based compounds. What’s more, this Chai teabag packs a punch in the flavour department. It is significantly more flavourful than any other Chai teabag I have tried. It is a lovely brew, with a wonderful balance of black tea and warming, tasty spices. I highly recommend giving it a go.
