When we keep saying the same thing over and over to ourselves (e.g. I’m broke, I’m tired, I’m overweight, I can’t afford that, I can’t do that, I can’t find a good relationship) we are sending a message out to the universe.
The universe listens and rather than read between the lines and see that what you desire is (... more money, to be healthier, to be free to buy what you wish, to do whatever, to meet your soulmate), it gives you more of what you are saying because it thinks that’s what you want because you keep harping on about it.
It’s the law of attraction.
Being aware of your thoughts and your words is truly powerful in shifting to a prosperity mindset, to move towards achieving and gaining what it is you actually desire.
Speaking in a certain way becomes our norm, so it takes real conscious effort to switching our default thinking.
When you notice yourself saying limiting words, try backing up with one of these or something similar and see how your body feels...
• I love money and money loves me. I am abundant.
• I love my healthy, strong sexy body. I am beautiful.
• I am confident and limitless.
• I love you (say to yourself in the mirror). For every one time you say the negative phrase, say the positive 7 times.
It may feel uncomfortable at first, but the more you do it the easier it gets and your mindset will switch.
I also like to use essential oils as a circuit breaker in these situations, as scent is so powerful for fast tracking the process.
Day 10. Today I have been thinking about relationships & community. How lovely is it to be connected, interdependent, vulnerable. To accept our smallness but know our might. I’m thankful for my existence - those I exist with - and how my existence is evolving. I’m thankful that the Whole30 is teaching me to have a better relationship with myself. I’m grateful for those moments I feel infinity - when I’m whole body, mind, and spirit - with another that is whole. These experiences are becoming more frequent, and I feel like that is the holiness that I’m pursuing. Intimacy. I really believe intimacy with others begins through intimacy with self. #whole30#bodymindsoul#thankfulheart#intimacy
You don't need to know where you are going if you know God is leading.
Don’t mind my hair. 🏋️♀️ « The blind side » movie got me in tears. For one thing, when I wake up in the morning, i got to be grateful for one thing in life rather than complaining. No matter how sweet life is, we each got battles to fight.#thankfulheart.
Having a berry happy start to my week ♥️
I am grateful for the time to be on my mat today — for a beautiful back bendy and heart opening flow class, and for a mindful and strong ashtanga class 🧘🏻♀️
I am grateful for treats like this berry wonderful bottle of locally produced yogurt. It’s nice to come home, open your fridge and find something both healthy and yummy to snack on after sweating it out for hours on the mat.
I am grateful for fairly better weather compared to the last few days. 🌫
Monday’s always are a struggle, and it’s hard to find something beautiful about it especially when it’s been stormy out. So I am grateful that my heart is open to the small blessings each day brings. 🙏🏼 #HaveAnAttitudeOfGratitude
Postpartum anxiety... #PPA
Such a 🤬... I feel crazy, cant breath, mind racing... all stemming from?
Not working out 3 days a week🙄 Apparently my mind and body aren't on the same page🙈
I had so many fun plans I was gonna this weekend... 👉🏻ya know what I did?🤷♀️ Sat on the couch and cried today with my hubs feeling completely helpless😭
So took a short nap, and he helped me burn off the crazy.
Here are some tips to battle it⬇️⬇️ ➡️Exercise (duh!)💪🏼 ➡️Say out loud “this is silly”😒 Seriously, the brain believes what we tell it. ➡️Keep Practicing mindfulness🙏🏼 ➡️Count down 5,4,3,2,1 and MOVE! NO thinking, just ACTION! ➡️Nourish properly. Seriously, it sounds far fetched, but when we eat junk we have junk thoughts. ➡️TALK ABOUT IT 🤷♀️How do you deal with #anxiety??? #mindfulness#mindfulbreathing#dailystruggle
Attitude will always be a key determiner of your destiny. If you think you can, you will. If you think you can’t, you shan't. It's the little things that can make you or break you. So tend to the little things that fuel your greatness.
