As #pridemonth is coming to a close I wanted to wish an extra happy Pride to our close friends, neighbours and family in #Toronto! Our friends in the #6ix are enjoying their parade this weekend.
Here @myfriendhayley is sporting her pride/rainbow collar. Unfortunately out of stock (can’t find the fabric anywhere) but we do have another rainbow pride collar in the shop currently!
Love is love, guys. Spread acceptance, love and joy wherever you can. #walkinthebark#prideislove#torontopride2018
I love that Paisley has such a diverse group of important people in her life that play significant roles in her upbringing. I was raised in a household where as children our parents didn't discuss sexuality outside of what in our home was "normal" . Not to say that my parents had negative opinions but it just wasnt ever something that I think they felt they knew enough about to bring up in causal conversation. However I was also brought up in a home where we were taught not to discriminate or judge others based on lifestyle/partner choices. We were taught that Love sees no colors or Genders. Love is Love.
Paisley has never once asked me why she has two uncles or two aunties that are together - she just loves and loves a lot for someone so little I might add. My heart is full knowing that this is her "Normal" and if ever there comes a day when she has a question about something I may not have answers too or she just needs an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on that her tribe is full of people to help guide her .
Happy Pride everyone.
