We talk about this idea of accelerating athletes out of the gym. Anyone can come in and work hard for workโ€™s sake and leave tired. Weโ€™re interested in preparing athletes for the task at hand and supporting sport performance. That doesnโ€™t mean there wonโ€™t be crushing days, but our ultimate aim is to apply optimal training stimulus directed toward reaching our ultimate goal. In the case of these kids, itโ€™s receptions, rushing yards, touchdowns, and big blocks. We train the necessary characteristics to support that outcome.

I did my first double training session yesterday and it's not too hectic.
Now I can get 5 training sessions in 4 days done, with one full day off. No training, no work just study and rest. โ˜บ๏ธ front squat + jerk x2 to finish off training last night. Feeling much better in my overhead position. .

There are two major decisive factors that are going to determine whether or not anyone of can reach surpass their limits. The first one is dedication. The second one is preparation.

No matter what, you must (and I meant you MUST!) give it your all when pursuing your goals. That's dedication.

However... You must also refine your work, improve upon on it little by little every day.
Even if it seems meaningless, it doesn't matter, because it will pay off in the end when all that effort finally gets put to the test. That's preparation.

Those two factors make all difference!

Frustrating looking back at this, because there should of been much more than this one the platform ๐Ÿ˜‚ more in me, in each lift, with them all being comfortable. Should of hit 900 this comp ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‘ I felt unusually off balance and shakey on squats, but least I fucking sunk them...maybe too much? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Bench I am pleased with soley because 5 weeks ago I couldn't bench 125kg due to the pain, more in there I would say too, so it's back. Deadlift is what it is, it's 100% gotten better. So close to 330, 327.5 would of went but it was a fuck it lets go ๐Ÿ˜‚.
