Now that the track season is over I’m getting back to going 3 days a week to the gym. Highlights of this week include farmers walk (225x55 ft), Max Bench (205 for 1ish), and Maxish Deadlift (365x3 didn’t go any higher cuz my back got pumped up with blood). Sometimes I feel nearly zero motivation to work out. But through experience I've learned that, really, I have never regretted one single workout sesh. So I keep that in mind for those times I reaaaaally don't wanna work out (which is often lol. ) 💛

Today the weights felt heavy. The squats with 130 lbs felt more challenging than usual. I don't know when I should start using a belt and/or the knee sleeves. I don't ever want to injure myself so if I'm struggling I don't force my body, I take my time. Anyway, I think after this I'll just have a set sports bra & shorts to wear for progress pics.
Squats 130 lbs 5x5
Bench 60 lbs 5x5
Did not have time to do deadlifts. I went during my lunch break at work.
Breakfast: Bread with butter, egg omelette
Snack: 4 apricots, 2 red velvet cookies
Lunch: rice, fried squid, adobong pusit
Snack: 2 apricots, mango bar
Dinner: nilagang baboy

My weight has not been exactly how I would like it to be so I'm having to change what I eat and how much. For those that know me know that I mean I need a lot of food!! Especially getting ready for my upcoming Spartan race! But the biggest reason is so that my body can have the fuel to fight of infections and bacteria.
