Vilken vecka.
Lacking energy; too much to plan and to do. Well everything in order and now its time for refill and gaining health!
So, I joined Mandaue City's Pride March as I was unable to join Cebu City's due to certain circumstances. I did it not because I was just tryna be trendy or cool. I did it because I'm one of the fewly aknowledged part of the community—a bisexual. Most of the time, bisexuals are often discounted in the community for being confused or just going through a phase. Bisexuals are often exploited by straight men because people often assume we're crazy sex people who can be your ticket to threesomes. Some women even lie about being bisexual just to get attention from men because the patriarchy has always been very sexist about same sex and thinks guy to guy action is gross but girl to girl is hot. Whereas bisexual men are often confused for being "secretly gay" and are "disgusting". But the truth is, bisexual women and bisexual men are not here to satisfy your craving for threesomes. We're not all into threesomes and real actual bisexuals don't use their sexuality to gain attention. We're not here for your entertainment. We are just being ourselves. There is a big difference between bisexuality and gayness. And we're comfortable of who and what we are. Still, in a community that prides itself for being diverse, I can't help but feel sad to still feel as though, I'm part of the minority of a minority. A lot of gay people think I'm stealing their spotlight, a lot of lesbians think I'm just in denial of being one of them, and a lot of trans people think I'm being greedy for wanting two sexes. Kind of bittersweet to think that yes the LGBTQ+ Community is a community I belong to and yet the "B" is hardly accepted respectfully, understood properly or well, acknowledged to exist for the right reasons. Then again, I'm still proud to wave my colors and show the world that yes, we exist. But not in the perverted way you assume. And of course, nobody should hate bisexuals or the LGBTQ+ community in general because we're not here to cause trouble. We're here to leave trails of rainbow and glitter for everyone to be happy. 🦄👭❤️💜💙💛💚🌈 #bisexualpride#bisexual#girlswhokissgirls#lovewins#pride#pridemarch#pridemonth#lgbtq#awareness#weexist#march#yes#comingout
