I’m happy to say that 99.9% of you agree with me on my last post that having cellulite is NORMAL, however, Fred wants me to share about how to eat better, so we ladies, can GET RID of it🙈.
I noticed that quite a few people “liked” his comment so it got me thinking ...
Would you be a better person if you didn’t have cellulite?
Would your body be able to perform better if you didn’t have cellulite?
Would your life improve if you had smooth legs with no dimples?
Would you be able to better serve your community if cellulite didn’t exist?
Ok, ummm.... NO👎🏻. Cellulite has no value - good or bad. It doesn’t equal anything that anyone should spend time thinking about. Yet, reading all the comments on my last post of women too ashamed of it to show their legs because of #cellulite, makes me want CHANGE NOW!
Ladies, we don’t need to get rid of it - we need to embrace how amazing our bodies are!❤️

Let’s normalize CELLULITE!🙌🏻 Own it! Flaunt it. There is NOTHING wrong with you if you have it. In fact, 98.9% of women (and men too) have it or will have it at some point in their life. It doesn’t make a darn difference how your body performs, so PLEASE don’t worry about it!
I got a question in my stories yesterday about how to help “get rid” of cellulite. This question has been on my mind ever since. The only reason we (mostly women) feel like it’s ugly, is because the beauty industry tells us it is! They want us to buy products to “try” and “get rid” of it (which don’t work and are a waste of money in my opinion). So, they win and we feel bad about our NORMAL bodies. ⠀
If you ask ANY man, they will tell you that it doesn’t bother them in the least when a women has cellulite. So, if your motivation is to look more appealing to men (which is whole different post that I won’t get into now) THEY COULDN’T CARE LESS.
Honestly, I hate it too - I get it - but I know the reason I hate it is because I’ve been programmed by the beauty industry to think it’s something I need to feel bad about. I have a lot of work to do on my own about aging, social media, wrinkles and my own appearance, so in no way am I saying that I don’t fall victim to their marketing schemes, but we CAN change things!
I’m posting these pictures as a way to help anyone out there struggling with #cellulite to know that yes, I too have it, and always have. It’s normal. The end. #normalizecellulite ⠀

I am slowing down my travel schedule... Only 2 workshops scheduled for the rest of the year!
LONDON 11/2 & 3
at @indabayoga ⠀
ARUBA 10/12 & 13 at @island.yoga ⠀
I am thinking about opening my own place here in south Florida.😱 I’m just dreaming right now, but I’d like to have a place for wellness retreats, yoga teacher trainings, an aquaponics farm, yoga workshops, and a turkey sanctuary. Yes, turkeys 🦃... does that sound weird?!😆 I adore turkeys and I’d love to have a rescue farm for them.
My husband and I love #aquaponics 🌱 and would love to teach people how to have an #aquaponics garden in their home. I have no clue how it would all work, but everything starts with just a thought, right? ⠀
It is just in my imagination right now, but I can see the vision clearly.💫 Dreaming is exciting, isn’t it? ⠀

#MOBILITYDRILLS 🔥 These are a few of my favorite hip flexor drills to work hip flexion and internal rotation. Usually, in #yoga we tend to do a lot of passive stretching without a lot of active or dynamic movement. I love to take yoga poses and make them more challenging. ⠀
If you want to make your practice include #mobilitytraining, think about how to use your #strength to perform a #stretch. 👉🏻👉🏻A great way to make something you do in yoga “active” is to try to move into it without the use of your hands. 👈🏻👈🏻 This will force you to engage your core and relax/contract the muscles you want to stretch.

Have you ever tried to “hop” with both legs “to the top of your mat” and felt like 😳 or 🤔 ... “How in the world do I do that?” Well, I have and this is a drill that has helped me tremendously.
This Wall Drill will help you build up the strength and courage to be able to do this skill. The key is to let your tailbone tap the wall first. Then, press the shoulders away from ears as you compress and lower feet down. Slow and steady wins the race!
If you feel like you may go crashing into the wall (we’ve all been there), use a sofa cushion or gym mat up against the wall to help you at first.

Hip flexor/Core Drill 🔥 This was my 3rd set and I was toast 🍞.
You can use a yoga block if the ball is to high for you to lift the leg up and over. I encourage you to try these - this drill is super effective for mobility training. ⠀
I had so much fun today with my exercise ball. If you don’t have one, get one!

Me and the pooch ...🐶 I know this looks like a headstand, but I no longer put any weight on my head. All the weight is in my arms - for me, this is preferable. Using the ball helps me to maintain focus, and allows me to use slow controlled movements to press up and lower down.

wouldn’t it be lovely if one could live in a constant state
some of the most
commonplace words can be some of the biggest dividers
what if there was
what if there was only us?
if words could be seen as they floated out of our mouths would we feel no shame
as they passed beyond our lips?
if we were to string
our words on a communal clothesline would we feel proud as our thoughts flapped in the breeze?

Finally getting to my #yogamat... I know I’ll be happy when I’m done, but man, is it hard to get motivated when you haven’t been feeling so great. Anyone else?
I have this agreement with myself when I feel this way ... #JustMove for 20 minutes. 99% of the time it turns out to be better than I thought and 45-90 minutes instead.😅
How do you motivate yourself?
Handstand Training with dogs! 😂 He wouldn’t get off my mat so I decided to use him as support ... he’s so funny (and stubborn)! I did this like 20 times and he never moved. I’m not sure if it helped me or not but it was fun!😃
Scroll left for my first attempt using @beachyogadog for #presshandstand support. 🐶
PS: I don’t recommend this kind of training unless your dog is a trained handstand coach.😉😆 #dogsarethebest
