Diving into another challenge because I love that it focuses on yoga philosophy, which is so often lost in the gymnastic world of #instayoga. Going into the holidays - a super tough time for me, like it is for so many of us - active reflection on Patanjali’s niyamas and how I (want to) apply them in my life is just what I need.
#regram @flou_yoga: 🍁🍂CHALLENGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!🍂🍁
Fall has always been a time of transformation and change, and through that, of reaffirming the practices that are most important to you. #NovemberNiyamas is here to encourage us to explore Patanjali’s second limb of yoga, the five constructive tools for cultivating happiness and confidence within oneself. And the best part is that the opportunities to practice them arise every single day!❤️
Join us for this short & sweet 5 day challenge from Nov. 15th - 19th to explore what each niyama means to our own personal practice. Each day one niyama will be paired with a pose, and we’d like you to share what that niyama means to you and how you put that into action in your every day life.
To participate in the challenge:
1. Like & repost this flyer so we know you’re in, tag a few friends who might like to join!
2. Follow all hosts & sponsors.
3. Post every day using the hashtag #NovemberNiyamas and tag all hosts/sponsors in each post so we can follow along!
🍁Day 1 - Saucha (cleanliness) + any seated pose
🍁Day 2 - Santosha (contentment) + any standing balance
🍁Day 3 - Tapas (heat/austerity) + any hip opener
🍁Day 4 - Svadhyaya (self-study) + any heart opener
🍁Day 5 - Ishvara Pranidhana (surrender to God) + yogi’s choice
Good luck, be safe & have fun yogis! We can’t wait to see your creative poses & hear a little more about your spiritual practice.🙏🏻✨
