Firstly, my apologies for my long absence. I have found the last 3 weeks extremely challenging and, although writing a blog probably would have been a very healthy way of dealing with a lot of it, some of it was personal and I’ve just needed some time.
This half term has been full on since stepping into school the first day back. Report writing, exam marking, mentoring, plus all of the usual planning, behaviour managing, organising etc etc. I am beginning to find my feet again but it’s been a tough one. I am, as always, so grateful for my amazing colleagues and wonderful students for making things better along the way.
Thankfully this week is quite light on the planning front, with a lot of exam work to do with my Year 10s. So I’m hoping to be able to get the chance to take a few breaths.
I’ll check back in tomorrow and it feels good to be back on here.
I feel this photo sums up life fairly well.
