This salad symbolizes a new chapter in my health & fitness!
Everyone who knows me knows fitness has always been a priority in my life but after having my daughter last fall I think I took skinny too seriously & put my health on the back burner. I was skipping meals to indulge later & even fasting just to maintain my weight. My workouts were cardio & nothing else. I have been feeling low on energy the past few months & simply not my former healthy self.
So yesterday I decided to enter the world of health & fitness coaching & become a Beach Body Coach!
I am so excited about this journey! I already feel accountable to my health because I have taken on this new lifestyle with so many other hard working inspirational coaches!
I am so excited to receive my Shakeology shakes & watch how my body changes with #teambeachbody

Here’s the 100% TRUTH

1) You already have too much information: There are 100s of training plans, nutrition plans, articles, websites, gurus, blogs, and supplements that are promising to get you X, Y, or Z. Some work; most don’t. The biggest problem is that you never actually buy-in to any of them. You stick your toe in this diet plan. You do that workout for a week. You spend $100 on this fat-burner. When’s the last time you actually followed a system (exactly as it was intended) for a full 12-weeks?

2) It’s not about plans; it’s about how you IMPLEMENT THE PLAN: For most people, just about any training plan will create some level of results—maybe not optimal, but it’s better than being completely unstructured and doing nothing. The “secret” is how you implement the plan…do you track what you’re supposed to track? do you eat/lift what you’re supposed to? Do you sleep enough? Did you get all 4 workouts in or did you only get 2? -
Find a coach, colleague, friend, or family member and HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE. Go all-in, track progress, and measure the outcome. Stop quitting after 4 days because you read a new article that said you could lose “6-Inches in 6-Days” or “Get Abs in 7-Minutes Per Day”

- 100 mL de jus multifruits joker

- et pour l’alcool, 1 à 2 bouchons de rhum @havanaclubfr
- un peu de menthe fraîche pour la déco et la fraîcheur 👏

On November 18th I’ll be running a spartan race. This is something I have to mentally and physically prepare myself for. I have the drive and I have the determination to make it happen so wether I finish or not is not the question. It’s going to require a lot of preparation and it’s going to take a lot of long nights putting in extra work to make sure I’m physically prepared for this challenge.
So why does this matter ? Team, when a challenge is set before you wether that be physical or through every day life. We need to not question whether we will get through the challenge or not but instead prepare mentally and physically each and every day to sustain what life will throw at us. At the end of the day I know there is a hero and there is a dreamer within each and every one of you. It just needs to get “dragged out” through that grind preparing for what the world may throw at you.
I appreciate each and everyone of you and the support you give me. At the end of the day I’m just another dream chaser like each one of you guys.
The race will take place on a Sunday and my team (Dreamchaser crew) will head out at 3pm wether there is snow, hail , thunderstorm , raining cats and dogs, or my mom out looking for why the hell im racing this 😂. All jokes aside , find what drives you and get after it.... Thank you team

Practicing form for starting Bench! Taking a page from the powerlifting folks. Day 1 practicing form and got to 45lb plates. Day 2 some more form practice in the middle of a leg workout lol When I did these waaaay back, I think the most I ever got was 135lbsx8.

I’m only doing strength sets for these. The arching thing feels so funny to me 😂 but whatever works. I’m all about protecting my shoulders. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on bench for all these years! Excited to see what I can bench! 😛

💭I forbindelse med gårdagens story, har jeg valgt at lave et opslag dedikeret til øvelsen Dips og hvordan du kan bygge dig stærk nok til at udføre dem 💪

1️⃣Lær at lave Push Ups
En anden vigtig kropsvægt øvelse der arbejder med bryst, skulder og triceps, som også er muskler der indgår i en Dip.

2️⃣Take your Push Ups to the next level
Okay er jeg bare glad for Push Ups?? 🤷‍♂️ svaret er selvfølgelig ja 😉 men det er også en god øvelse, derudover det være en god fordel få både at presse skulder stabilitet eller for at presse med højre belastning ved fx ekstra vægt på ryggen. Det findes vanvittig mange Push Up varianter, så det er masser at tage fat i 😉

3️⃣Pres i alle retninger
En god fordel for også at fokusere mere på skulder, igen det er kun fantasien der sætter grænser og det kan give en god variation til din træning.

4️⃣Bonus til din triceps
Som man siger ‘curls for the girls’ så har vi lige lidt ekstra til armene, men også fordi det kan være en fordel med en stærk triceps 😉💪

5️⃣Dips, med support
Hvis du vil blive god til noget, skal du lave det. Ved at finde support ved en box eller det kan også være en makker, kan du udføre dips med lavere belastning.

6️⃣Dips, excentrisk
Læs nr 5, plus her har du så bare fuld belastning. De kan være pænt hårde! Gå efter 4-8 sek ned for 2-5 gentagelser.
