Post-arms & 'yogging on this brisk Boise morning. A year ago was neck deep into prep for the Idaho Cup, last November - on the path to being a lean bean. That was fun and rewarding in its own way, but this whole training for performance and eating in a caloric surplus is so much more fun.
I hit 245x6 on close grip bench to start the day and ended with a casual 2.5 mile run. I couldn't do that last year. Trying to upgrade the tris to get that @smith.julian horseshoe before I try and get competition diced again.

5 reasons why women should weight train their upper body…💪🏼

1️⃣ To improve your BODY COMPOSITION - training your upper body will result in less fat and more lean mass, creating that ‘toned’ look. Less overall body fat will also lead to mobilisation of fat around your organs as well as subcutaneous body fat, reduced blood pressure, improved cholesterol levels, and in turn less risk of cardio metabolic diseases/obesity.
