Happy Monday! We’d love to share this review from our good friend @alllll_day_ about one of our favorite packs.
Gear Review!: @packnw Ridgeline Roll-top Hip Pack:
I have never been a backpack rider. The feeling of just you and your bike can never be beaten. But, I hate being unprepared and let's face it, I eat and drink (whether beer or water) A LOT on the trail! AND I still need to be able to carry my pump, tube, tool, maybe an extra jacket...keys, phone, trail map....etc...for rides that range from an hour to all day.
Cue this pack. First off, it is #handmade in #Bellingham #Washington, which is awesome! The pack has almost everything I would want! In my opinion, it's a solid construction made with high quality materials. With the expandable main compartment, I can carry all the above and still have space for more! With the side compression straps and back panel padding, the pack sits comfortably and securely on my lower back, whether partially or fully loaded.
Though it is not 100% waterproof, the extra lining inside keeps whatever I carry dry. The only one con about the design I have is I wish it had a side water bottle pocket. This is not a huge issue for me, as I usually ride with a platypus 1 liter bladder, which fits securely in the bottom of the pack.
Overall, it's a sweet, well constructed hip pack that I will continue to reach for in my arsenal of bags! Find them at the @konabikeshop. Photo credit 📸: @wheres.annie_
