at the end of a tour, I find all sorts of things I’ve been given by fans/friends at meet and greets, during the show, after... little pieces of tour memorabilia that have significant value to me. like a coffee cup I use every morning that is a tribute to my dog jake and my song “can’t be replaced.”
These two items however, are with me everyday. The KIA bracelet on my wrist was a gift from a fan in the front row of our houston show. and the coin in my pocket, from a friend in phoenix. one a continual reminder of the one percent of men and women that serve, their families, and those that have given their lives for us and our country. the other, a daily reminder of the men and women of the firefighting community. those at #campfire #woosleyfire now, the guys of the #granitemountainhotshots, and really just all the #firstresponders out there. seems like we are calling on them more and more these days.
so much gratitude for you all this thanksgiving. Thank You.
