Ode to green tea.
(aka, the benefits of Matcha)
.🌿. Did you know that green tea is considered an adaptogen? According to Donald Yance, Green Tea is a secondary adaptogen due to its antioxidant and anti inflammatory action on the body. With its long scared tradition on the Asian continent, green tea has always been touted as a health beverage. We now know that is helps reduce chances of breast cancer, tumor growth, inflammation, and stress. I cannot give enough love to this glorious plant. .🌿. Matcha has the most antioxidants of any green tea because you ingest the entire leaf in powder form; therefore it also has the most caffeine. I know the Matcha craze is not going away, and I’m happy it’s here to stay. .🌿. Many years ago I mixed Matcha and Maca (another amazing adaptogen!) together to help me through school. Today, we have it available for you, already blended and ready to drink. 🍵
