In and around the Sheldon Marsh State Nature Reserve in Huron, Ohio, was our home base over the weekend. It is one of the last undeveloped shorelines in the Sandusky area. While there, I came to realize it's importance for pollinators and, at this time of year, in particular, migrating monarchs. Coming here, I have never seen as many monarchs in one place. I'm looking forward to sharing those adventures in the coming days and weeks. Aka mixing things up as my garden goes to sleep for the year.
