There is so much beauty in the world and I sometimes forget when I stay home too much. We found these crystal clear jellies on one of our local beaches and their loveliness amazed me. Perfectly round and flawless. Lovely to hold..
.
In all honesty my life is pretty luxurious. Not by glamour or possessions but by pace and time. I have a lot of freedom to do what I want, when I want (albeit with 3 little girls in toe) and I don't have to wait for the weekend.
.
All I really want to do is love on people and explore the world around me. So having these little adventures with my girls fills my cup just nicely.

Today we celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque. “Look upon yourself as a tree planted beside the water, which bears its fruit in due season; the more it is shaken by the wind, the deeper it strikes its roots into the ground.” Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque

Patron Saint of against polio, devotees of the Sacred Heart, loss of parents and polio patients.

After a girlhood marked by painful illness and even more painful family discord, Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690) entered the Visitation convent of Paray-le-Monial, France, at the age of 22.
She was ignorant, sickly, and clumsy, but she had great charity and humility. Our Lord chose her to spread devotion to his Sacred Heart, at a time when rebellion without (Protestantism) and heresy within (Jansenism) were doing their best to separate Catholics from their faith and their God.

Many pilgrims to her tomb have sought and obtained favors. Through her apostolate of devotion to the Sacred Heart many sinners have repented and found grace with God. (more information about Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/liturgicalyear/calendar/day.cfm?date=2018-10-16)

Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, pray for us!

World Food Day is celebrated every year around the world on 16 October. World Food Day is a day of action dedicated to tackling global hunger. People from around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate worldwide hunger from our lifetime.
The focus of the day is that food is a basic and fundamental human right. Yet, in a world of billions, 805 million people worldwide live with chronic hunger, 60% women and almost five million children under the age of five die of malnutrition-related causes every day.
