With less than an hour to go until Wisconsin/Iowa, here are the keys to the game for both teams:
✔️Get Hornibrook comfortable early. It will be a long night in Kinnick if the Badgers become one dimensional
✔️Keep the crowd out of the game. This will be very hard to accomplish, but if Wisconsin can drive the ball downfield on 9+ plays consistently, they won’t have too many problems
✔️3rd Down Defense. The Badgers defense hasn’t looked great so far, allowing Iowa to convert on big plays won’t help their cause
✔️Make big plays. Iowa hasn’t had any reliable targets on the outside this season, but they’ll need to be able to take deep shots if they want to score
✔️Contain Jonathan Taylor. I’m expecting Taylor to get at least 20-25 touches tonight, if the Hawkeyes allow him to get 6+ YPC, they won’t be in a good spot defensively
✔️Keep the momentum on your side. The atmosphere in Kinnick elevates Iowa’s play anytime there is a big matchup. If they can hang around until the 4th, their chances of winning will be very high
I see Wisconsin bouncing back from last week’s embarrassing loss vs BYU, but it won’t be an easy one.
