You aren’t going to find the time to pursue your goals; you’re going to make the time to pursue your goals. And the first thing you’re going to need to accept is that you’re in control of your schedule . THIS. THIS. THIS! . When I started my business I had zero time. No seriously, I had ZERO time. I worked my day job Monday - Friday, I worked my freelance writing business in my spare time outside of work, I was studying a full time taught Master’s degree in my spare time outside of that, my now-husband lived 2.5 hours a way and we spent Friday - Sunday together which often involved one of us commuting. . I.DID.NOT.HAVE.THE.TIME. . BUT…I was determined that this wasn’t going to be my life; stuck in a job I hated, scraping by for extra work to help pay my tuition so I could tick off one of my big life goals of completing my Master’s degree. We had BIG plans for our future…Marriage, house and a baby. I wanted to work from home, for myself, owning my own time and not being tied down. I wanted that freedom. So I said yes, I took a leap, I sceptically dunked my toe in the proverbial water and I went for it. I made the time. 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. . You know those things you hope for, that you want for yourself…why can’t you have them. Look back up a couple of paragraphs at the things I wanted. I achieved them all. That’s not to brag that’s to show you that the time will always pass, there will always be no time left in your day unless you make the time. Do the damn thing and stop telling yourself your dreams and goals aren’t worth it or can wait. Nobody ever said “I really regret achieving all my goals” did they?
