Könnt ihr euch eigentlich noch vorstellen wie es war, ohne Baby einkaufen zu gehen 🤔 Also ich nicht, uns gibt’s echt immer nur noch im Doppelpack 🙅🏼‍♀️🙈
Und falls ich dann doch mal ohne sie gehen sollte, fühle ich mich total komisch 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

Faire une photo juste comme ça, et se rendre compte des dégâts 😱 donc c'est décidé, plus d'excuse, j'ai de nouveau téléchargé l'application @lifesum qui m'avait bien aidé il y a 3 ans !
Au cours de ma grossesse, j'ai pris 13 kilos. J'ai déchiré de partout ! Je suis devenue un véritable zèbre 🦓 comme on dit, ce sont les cicatrices de la plus belle chose qui me soit arrivée. Ok pour celles du ventre, mais celles sur les cuisses ? Les hanches etc ? Bébé il a pas poussé ni la ni ailleurs que dans mon ventre, alors je m'en serai bien passée ! Il me reste encore 5 kilos à perdre mais j'aimerai en perdre 10 en tout pour retrouver mon poids de forme.
Rééquilibrage alimentaire et dès que possible je me remets au sport !
Et on en parle du gynéco qui me dit "et beh, vous n'avez pas perdu grand chose ! Va falloir s'y mettre non ??!" Ben viens t'occuper de mon bébé et on voit comment ça se passe ! Conn*rd 😡

Today I am 12 weeks post partum and I’m officially out of the 4th trimester. I took care of myself and asked for help during these first three months of motherhood.
What prompted me to do this was the fact that my pregnancy was very difficult. I had only heard of Post Partum Depression, PPD. I didn’t know depression and anxiety could develop and/or intensify during pregnancy as well. They are called Prenatal Mood Disorder, PMADs.
I tried hard to smile for this bump photo. Wasn’t I supposed to be blissful and frolicking around in a beautiful maternal dress like what’s posted all over IG? That was not reality for me. I wanted this baby more than anything and it was planned but I never felt so horrible in my life.
I started researching what could be wrong with me and I found Postpartum Support International. I called them and a volunteer called me back within 5 minutes. She told me PMADs were very common. 1 in 7 women get it. She said 1. You are not alone. 2. It will go away. I didn’t believe her.
She told me I should try the motherhood center in NYC for support. I went. It was excruciating but I went there every day for a month and I continued to see doctors and find support until I gave birth in August.
Now I’m a mother of a beautiful 3 month old daughter. I feel like myself again and I’m at peace, just way more exhausted. 😆
This stuff shouldn’t be taboo to talk about. It’s a beautiful time in a woman’s life, but it isn’t always easy and joyful.
Below are some resources that saved me during those rough months of my pregnancy and what I think spared me from PPD. I hope it helps you or someone you know.
“The only way out is through.” It’s true.

We’ll jump back to our hormone week posts later today 😊(See last post for why that is relevant to you!), but first here is a fun full body workout using a resistance band for you to try. 🤗 You could also hold two dumbbells if you don’t have a resistance band.

This is a great workout for when you are short on time and want to maximise your fat burn. 🙋🏻‍♀️ I promise you’ll be a sweaty mess by the end and feeling it in all the right places afterwards 🙃. Save it now for next time you need a workout. 📎

Don’t underestimate a resistance band! It can be a great variation to lifting weights and just as effective! I loved using bands during my second and third trimester and postpartum as I got back to my workout too. Resistance bands are really awesome for holiday and park workouts too because it’s so easy to fit them in your stroller or suitcase. 😊🙌🏻

Try 10-15 reps of each exercise (on each side as necessary) and do 2-4 rounds depending on the time you have.
👟squat to upright row
👟static lunge to front raise
👟 side lunge to side raise 👟 pile squat to overhead pull down
👟 narrow static lunge with bicep curl.
Watch your breath/TVA activation by exhaling on exertion (for example the up movement on the squat). As you exhale lift the pelvic floor and activate your TVA (zipping up your inner core muscles from the bottom up all the way round like a corset).

All moves should be ok if you have #diastasisrecti but watch the overhead movement- that you do not thrust your stomach/hips or ribs forward. Any questions feel free to ask!

✏️Cable Side Lying Circle Kicks
I am creating a half circle with my foot that is through the handle bar. You can also use an ankle cuff as well. The ankle cuff I use is from @thexbands.
✏️Quadruped Hip Int/Ext Rotations
I demo with and without a pad, you choose! I prefer to be down on my forearms than up on my hands (personally preference). I am allowing the cuffed ankle to travel towards the pulley creating an external rotations of my hip and then immediately away from the pulley to create an internal rotation of my hip. You will also see some reps with my ankle staying low and some with my ankle lifted high. This exercise is a next level hip burner 🥵🙌🏼. MUST TRY LADIES!
✏️Prone Bench Banded Abductions
Inclined bench and then immediately followed by a flat bench. The band is placed below my knee. Sorry, the last part of the clip is chopped. Still learning how to angle this new camera 🤦🏼‍♀️.

They are always watching.

I did not want to workout today.
It's cold. I'm not motivated. I really want to watch The Great British Baking Show.

But then I realized NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES.

So I sucked it up and got my 30 minutes of upper body work done right in my kitchen while Kamryn watched TV in the living room. She even joined me on some of the moves.

And this is why I'm going to keep showing up. SHE is the reason why I'm going to keep showing up.

So just remember if you're a momma and you're struggling to get started, they are watching. They want you to be happy and healthy. But if you dont try, you will never get there.

35 tydzień ciąży vs 9 dni po porodzie
Naprawdę nie spodziewałam się, że tak szybko zrzucę ciążowy brzuszek. W ciąży jadłam to, na co miałam ochotę, ale starałam się nie jeść "za dwóch" 🥗, ćwiczyłam tyle o ile, trochę pływałam. Szybki powrót do akceptowalnej formy mogę chyba zawdzięczyć głównie aktywnemu trybowi życia od małego i genom 😊 oprócz tego ciąża w młodym wieku właśnie takie ma plusy- dużo energii przez całe 9 miesięcy, a nawet dłużej i szybka regeneracja organimu 💪

SIX PACK ABS ANYONE?
So after I had kids...I had this weird pooch borderline muffin top that no matter what I did(every diet, crunches, sit ups, yoga, running, wraps, detox tea, I think you get it) nothing could shrink that skin flap reminder that my body is mine again. I HATED my body!

Baby's first time in a climbing gym and he did great! It was so nice to be back in the gym and get some routes in. I sure did miss that climbing gym atmosphere. I even flashed a couple of 5.9s, so I'm not as bad off as I thought 😅 I can't wait to build my strength back up 💪🏻 Archer was so cute (as usual 😉)! He watched me climb all the way to the top, with a look of confusion on his face. Don't worry kid, you'll be doing it too in a few years! You know what they say, start 'em young 👶🏻🧗🏻‍♀️ .
