If I could go back and reassure that new mom that just because her jeans didn’t fit right then that everything would in fact be okay I 1000% would. Pregnancy was hard, being a brand new mom even harder, add that in with the pressure to “bounce back” and damn you better believe the negative self talk and disappointment was real when it didn’t happen that way.

The journey has been long, but it has been so worth it. I’ve grown to appreciate my body because holy shit she’s a badass and I’ve learned to be at peace with where I am at all times. Extra fluffy feeling or super lean I’m loving myself right there in that moment.
.
My bootcamps are about so much more than losing weight, we focus on the things there are to gain when you put your HEALTH first. I roll out my mat, and repeat to myself “Out of my mind and into my body, out of my mind and into my body” tuning out these racing thoughts and bringing focus to the sensations inside my body. The feeling of my breath flowing in and out. .

This is the first time in over ten months I can forward fold with my legs together, and jump forward and back. It is so exciting rediscovering my practice in my new *and improved *and respected *and appreciated body. .
.
Who would have thought that a pregnancy and birth could heal such deep body image wounds? Not me. I always assumed I would have a hard time postpartum getting used to my new body and feeling pressure from myself to get back to how it was before. But all I have is respect. And a new purpose. A new focus. A human being, created inside this body. The number on the scale and number of calories I’ve eaten for the day no longer interests me or holds the same value it did before. I am finally free. I am so grateful. Out of my mind and into my body. 🎥 Sped up x4

I hardcore debated on whether I was going to post this or not. Yesterday, I finished my 80th workout of an 80 day program. I was very excited to my done & proud of myself for completing all 80 days, BUT I also didn’t see the results I was hoping for. I have no excuses because I know it was a result of all those little choices I made- a handful out of the candy bowl at work here and a Starbucks Christmas drink there.
Although I had been doing all the workouts, my mindset & my nutrition was HORRIBLE the entire time. Nutrition is literally 80% of our results- I just tested that theory and proved it right 😂
I decided I wanted to share because I want to show everyone that I struggle too. I’ve had people say that “it’s just not easy for them like it is for me” guess what?! It ain’t easy for me either and you get to see that while I’m smack dab in the middle of it.
And while the former me probably would have quit and decided these programs don’t work for me- I KNOW that is not true because it’s worked before. It’s not the program that I need to change, it’s my mindset and all the little habits that’s I’ve slipped back into. I’m not waiting until January to change those either- it starts TODAY!! Even without the results I wanted to see, I’m still down 4lbs and I can see & feel a difference in how my clothes fit. I got up EVERY single morning for 80 days to get in my workout- with 3 kids and starting back to my full time job. We fought for this day. The threat of infertility, hormone treatments, miscarriage and loss, summoning faith and finally the joy of a healthy and peaceful pregnancy and birth, only to get to meet the most wonderful miracle of our whole lives. This boy 💙 As a kid I spent countless times roaming this magical land, FairyTale Town, and yesterday I got to walk through the Humpty Dumpty bridge entrance hand in hand with my own son. It was a moment of nostalgia, joy, and emotions I can’t quite express or unpack. I just wish I could forever pause the feeling of having his little hand placed in mine. May we take deep breaths, mama friends. How much this motherhood journey can feel so acutely fleeting, yet so incredibly full at the same time. Grateful to my husband for capturing the moment. 💙 #rainbowbaby

Every week I sit down for an hour or two and plan my week. Many may say “I don’t have that kind of time” well, since having my baby I’ve been doing it around my pockets of time aka when she’s sleeping or when daddy has her. It can be 20-30 minute increments every other hour till I get the planning done. I start with a prayer of direction and guidance as I want my week to be predestined by God... each week I set a goal and I WRITE an affirmation as a reminder when I lack motivation. .

I find this to save me time and a whole lots of stress during the week. I basically drop all my BRAIN dump in this planner and I get to WORK. Do you use a planner? If so, which one? I’ve tried many but I always come back to my @erincondren planner. 💗💯🔑

32 weeks in, 32 weeks out! This is a big milestone for multiples mamas. I truly can’t believe the triplets all fit in my belly just 8 months ago ... The picture on the left was my last ultrasound before my c-section. I swore I was going to throw that tank top away... it was basically the only thing that still fit and I was so sick of it 😂. My belly was HUGE, but looking at these babies now it is totally surreal. 😍 I don’t think I will ever fully wrap my head around the triplet pregnancy experience! ❤️👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼. During this postpartum period, I have focused on self-love and giving myself some grace. I have learned that I have to be honest about my feelings, and to acknowledge when I’m struggling. I have learned to ask for help, and that accepting help is not weakness. I have learned that even though Brad and I are both giving our all, there will still be things undone. I try to tell him “thank you” for all he does (which is a lot!) at least 5 times a day. I have learned, above all, to differentiate between what is in my control and what isn’t. My postpartum advice would be to embrace new experiences, give yourself grace, eat healthy, and practice gratitude. What postpartum advice can you share?
