What's motivating you today??

For me it's the progress I've made! 🏋️‍♀️

When I started my fitness journey, I would do 10 minute workouts and wouldn't use any weights at all. Today, I was able to complete a 45 minute leg workout using weights ranging between 12.5lbs.-50lbs!
.
Are there other women that can lift more than me or have reached their goals faster than me? Of course! I have learned to stop comparing myself to them, and just compete with me. Therefore, I am taking a moment to celebrate how far I've come, and to let you know that you can do it too! .
Start small and build from there. Be consistent and never give up on yourself! Change will come, my friend. Enjoy the ride! 😘

What drives me every single day? The motivation and support that I receive from my accountability group. Every day they make me feel like I can push myself even harder then the day before. And you know what? I do, I push harder and the results are showing that.

Look I can actually see some definition in those arms now instead of just some arm flab occurring. I will continue to push myself because I can only do better! ——
But guess what? You can do it too but you have to make the decision to start! That is the hardest decision but it will be worth it, YOU deserve it!

How Would You Handle this Situation?

So a few years ago (I lived in the country then) I was driving 20 minutes to town and some cattle had just been pushed down the road, being moved between pastures.

Because this was a normal occurrence I waited and then continued my drive into town on this hot summer day.

I got up to speed and drove over some cow manure. Coming up to it I didn’t think about it because it was normal to see this in the road. But it was a hot day!
🐮
It sprayed that sh*t all over the side of my rig. Thank God my windows were up!
🙈
There are a few reactions here: 1) get completely pissed off and stay angry the rest of the day because the universe was obviously out to get me, 2) return home immediately because I couldn’t be seen like this and had to wash it all off right away, 3) laugh it off and go about my business.
🤪
Well, I had to get to town so I continued on my way. I laughed the entire drive, plus then some, and days afterward and also while writing this down. It was quite hysterical.
🤣
The point here is you have a choice in how you react to what happens to you. Sh*t does happen – literally, but that’s OK. It can turn in one of the funniest things that’s ever happened too!

Hubby and I enjoying our time in Las Vegas 🎰🎲but didn’t mean I was going to miss my Monday workout so I streamed my workout 🏋🏻‍♀️on my phone at the Gym. It’s not a short-term diet, it’s a long-term lifestyle change. Cause I did it! 💥 I can say that I thought 100 was this huge number that was gonna be TOUGH to achieve to say the least.. but then I did it and was like that wasn’t nearly as bad as I imagined in my head. -
Why do we do that?! What I imagine in my head is ALWAYS so much worse than it ever actually is. -
It feels awesome to have done 250, but then I saw a challenge from @tonyshorton to do some more but to make it take 10 seconds down and 10 seconds back up. Now that was tough but I did one.. not so elegantly but I love seeing what else I can do. -

Every step toward the goal requires sacrifice, suffering and struggle to some degree. If there is no struggle there will be no progress. This is a seated leg press also known as pure torture for your legs the day after! Bench day. I tried this new machine and it is amazing. How is that you may ask? It makes everything feel heavier, allows me to bench without a hand off or spot. Baby weights feel heavier so doing less reps hopefully this machine will help me develop a bigger bench.

Where are all my leg day people at? It’s my favorite day. You are working big muscles that burn calories throughout the day.

Here is a killer leg workout that doesn’t require weights, but will make your legs BURN!
Plyo lunge jumps- 30 seconds each leg
Triple bear- 45 seconds (swipe)
Soccer run- 30 seconds (swipe)
Lunge jumps- 15 seconds(swipe)
Repeat circuit 2 more times for a total of 3!
