"I cannot expound great art theories as Educated Artists do. I can only paint what I choose to share at the time. On the other hand — Educated Artists cannot paint as I do — they paint what their guidelines tell them. My only guideline is respect for life. By 'Educated Artists' I refer to the artist with the Master's Degree in Art — who studied under 'So and So' (and paints like 'So and So'). Most of the newer artists leave me cold — they are products of a school and not products of life."
"A lot of my work has to do with fantasy and with spiritual things, with giving a spiritual message, and it pleases me when people are touched by this. I think people as a whole are getting more in touch with themselves; they are becoming more aware of themselves perhaps as people with souls and they know more who they are inside of themselves. I think people with this kind of approach can take a very positive attitude toward my art. Those who are only concerned with the mechanics of painting and not with the spiritual values don't appreciate my work."
