Growth doesn’t come at the cost of nothing. Old habits will be broken. You’ll have to grow into new rituals, new routines, a new mindset. But with anything, if it’s the right path, you’ll never feel like you’re going south. It might feel hard, but it’ll still make you FEEL better.

Јуче је одржан још један "Изазов у среду" у којем су наши такмичари најпре имали задатак да у року од 1мин. забележе што више скокова на 'кутију', а након тога чекао их је и једноминутни wall ball изазов. Такмичар који је у тоталу имао највећи број скокова и бацања понео је титулу победника а то је Милан Новаковић, члан наше PWL групе. Још један члан powerliftinga, Алекса Станковић заузео је 2.место, док се на трећем нашао Crossfit-er Саша Ковачевић. Честитамо момцима на одличним резултатима а остале позивамо да се прикључе изазову већ наредне среде када ће судија бити @trifunovic52! Видимо се 💪

nottttt sure if you guys remember but i’ve hit a pretty big plateau & my workouts just haven’t been the best BUT YESTERDAY , i had the best workout i had in awhile & it was literally only 40 minutes . you don’t need to be in the gym for hours to see results , you just need to know what works for you ! ( ps . i did a bi & tri workout last night )

I’ve had a lot of time to sit and think today! .
.
My early morning gym date ended about as quickly as it began when I threw my back out while squatting! 😱 Worst paint I’ve felt in a long while! And, what the heck! .
.
So, in case any of you should happen to throw your back out, here’s how you treat it! 🙄
.
.
Ice on 20 minutes, ice off 40. Ice on 20 minutes, ice off 40 minutes! Repeat that for a good while! 😂 .
.
Next, find a tennis ball, put it in a sock, and go stand against the wall with it behind your back and start rolling! It hurts, but the kind of hurt that it hurts so bad it feels good! .
.
Did it cure me?! Not fully! But at least I can sit and stand without wanting to cry, so, that’s something! 😂 Injuries, they’re the worst! But I’m a firm believer in still moving, mindfully of course, to help the body heal itself!

I have always considered myself to be a disciplined person. This morning that discipline was tested. It is below freezing here in Houston this morning and that proved to be a potential deterrent for me. See my alarm went off at 4am to go workout and I was warm and cozy in bed with a kitty on one side and a dog on the other. Staying there would’ve felt so good. I literally had to argue with myself to get myself out of bed and do what I had planned to do. The argument that worked for me was my definition of discipline: discipline is doing what’s good for you even when you do not want to. Since I choose to believe I am a disciplined person it would’ve been incongruent for me to skip working out. It is good for me and I know I would’ve been annoyed with myself later if I did not follow through with my plans. So I chose to be disciplined and there can never be regrets when I choose that. I just finished an amazing workout and I feel energized and ready to start my day! I hope next time you have a moment like mine that you remember the definition of discipline and that it helps you stay the course too. I assure you that you won’t regret that workout afterward. For those of you that won your personal battle this morning too-congratulations! 🙌🏻. Comment below 👇🏻 if you beat the little devil trying to keep you from your goals. Happy Thursday everyone!

how do you fit a 45 minute workout into 35 minutes? Supersets and low rest times 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

for some odd reason my alarm was set for 8:30 instead of 4:30 but thankfully my body clock had me up at 5, so I was only 15 minutes late getting to the gym ☺️
.
here's the workout I squeezed in:
🍩conventional deadlifts 3x8-10
(10@135, 8@155, 8@155)
🍩landmine rows 4x8
🍩chest supported high grip row ss neutral grip row 3x10 each side
*high grip gets upper back/rear delts, neutral gets mid back
🍩lat pull downs ss straight arm pull overs 3x10
🍩low rope face pulls ss rope bicep curls 3x10
