The book that started my health journey many many moons ago...
Weston A.Price was a dentist who travelled to remote places where processed foods had not yet been introduced into peoples diets. He looked at their dental structures and found that people who are traditional diets had wide dental arches, had room for all their teeth including their wisdom teeth, and who had hardly any dental caries or tooth decay. They had strong immune systems and excellent health. When he compared this to tribes who were eating processed foods such as white flour, white sugar, vegetable oils... they had small dental arches, their mouth was too small to fit in all of their teeth, and they had dental caries and tooth decay. They also had weaker immune systems and inflammation. He studied many tribes and this was the common theme he found. .
