I have so many photos I still want to share from our recent travels so I thought I’d start off with one from our Southwest road trip.

We had been driving from Nevada this day, and weren’t sure if we’d make it to see Capital Reef in Utah. We were racing against time to see sunset, but we were determined to keep driving. I’m so glad we did because we ended up seeing the most epic sunset here. Shortly after I took this photo, the sky turned a soft pink/purple color, and now I’m convinced it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve seen. ✨

We are the UTAH tea guild. Location specific. Context specific. We’re not just serving tea anywhere. We’re serving tea here in UTAH. We live in the most beautiful place. For real. Don’t you think? Tell us what you love most about living here and a favorite place perhaps ??

Imagine walking through these giants with no one else in site, no sounds other than your foot steps on the soft desert sand, and an orange sunrise that slowly starts to warm your cold ears. Can it get any better? @southwestair #southweststorytellers #contest

Throwback to my first back country trip in Utah at Capital Reef National Park over Thanksgiving. @allegrabishop and I shared the entire park with only 1 other person which means we got plenty of these type of views all to ourselves

One step closer to being back on my feet and exploring. Traded in my ugly boot for an ugly shoe. Going through my photos and realizing how few pictures there are of me in the amazing places I’ve been fortunate enough to visit. Photographing people in vast landscapes like a national park provides perspective in your photos. Going to remember that this year. #kathypassmore2019 #capitolreef #nationalpark #utah

Today’s national park image to Instagram that I’ve uploaded to Flickr. This is an image I captured back one October afternoon in Capitol Reef National Park with my Nikon D800E. This is a view not long after driving into the national park at a roadside pull off. #findyourpark #nps #capitolreefnationalpark #utah #flickr #nikond800e

The iconic, majestic Castle in Capitol Reef National Park. Towering above the visitor center, this guy just captures the eye with jagged little turrets carved into the Wingate sandstone.

Tonight a bunch of Utah grams were in my feed and it’s got me dreaming of the many cool arches to discover, and slot canyons to explore.
Just when I think I’ve seen it all I read or hear about just one more spot to explore and before I know it, our next trip is booked. Am I the only one that is already planning my next Utah trip while I’m still in Utah?

Of all the places we could’ve gone to during our shutdown week, Michael let me choose wintery Utah so I could mark off some of the national parks on my bucket list. We could have gone somewhere warm where he could golf, but instead he’s driving 1,000+ miles in the snow, car camping with me and the two pups, and hopping out of the car whenever I see a photo op – all with a positive attitude and adventurous spirit. I’m so grateful for this man! 🙏💕 #roadtrip #visitutah

Who wants to go on an adventure w me? (This is a serious question. I actually want to explore Utah) 🌲💫🌎🧗🏼‍♀️⭐️⛰

Many of the National Parks around Utah and Arizona are similar when looking at a picture of them, but they are incredibly unique when you are actually there 💚 #capitolreefnationalpark #utah #nikonphotography #nature
