For Valentine’s Day Cesarine released neon sculptures of sexist slurs that women are often burdened by. The deadly sin “Lust” glowed with an eerie blue light. “Slut” grabbed everyone’s attention and “Fuck Off” clearly expressed that women are unapologetic when it comes to their sexuality. Today’s woman is no longer the property of a man. Matter of fact, The Cesarine woman is taking full ownership of her sexuality. The shocking misogynistic labels were beautifully displayed as love, sex and self-worth battle for attention. The highlight of the evening was her beautifully sculpted, neon portrait of painter Freida Kahlo. And Indira Cesarine makes a huge social statement by fashioning a neon symbol expressing Woman = Man symbol . She has mastered the art of neon sculpting and manipulates glass as a painter manipulates paint with brush strokes. The thought provoking works of Cesarine is sure to catapult her into the realm of the most famous pop artist in history, Warhol and Basquiat! Cheers to Indira Cesarine!
