My first ever NPC show was in 2015 March.
My last PRO show was the Olympia in Las Vegas in September 2017.
I did 6 amateur and 9 pro shows in 2.5 years!
(Goshhhhh, that was a shit load of hard work🙊🙈🙉thanks to my amazing coach @bestfitness01 for pushing me through🙏❤️)

I realized that I was starting to get burnt out, and I wasn't driven anymore, i wasn’t enjoying what i was doing.
.
So last year I decided to just take a break!
It was much needed not just for my body, but for my mind.
.
Instead of competing, I started online coaching & building my own brand.
I’m so happy I decided to embark on this journey because it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

What happened in 2018✨
My goals have completely changed!

Shoulders are an important muscle,
so why is it that so many people can't seem to develop nice round shoulders?🤔
👉🏾Hitting them only once a week is not enough! If you want them to grow, you need to train them at least 2x/ week.
👉🏾FEED THEM!! You need to make sure you're eating enough calories to build mass. If you find hard to hit your daily protein intake, add in a whey protein supplement to your regimen.

What i have learnt during my journey:

🔑DONT BE AFRAID OF CHANGE
If you are not happy where you are now you need to make changes. That means you might get uncomfortable in every kind of way, but that’s okay!
The first time doing/trying something is always scary! Changing your lifestyle, your eating habits, or your schedule is uncomfortable. The first day in the gym, making time to prep your meals, scheduling your trainings, and rearranging your priorities can be very overwhelming... I’ve been through it all.
Start slowly, but you must START.
If you are not willing to make these changes nothing will happen. It requires a lot of time and effort but at the end of the day it will be so worth it... trust me 🙏
.
🔑STOP with the EXCUSES
Everyone is busy, everyone has their own problems and we all have the same 24 hours in a day! How you decide to spend your 24 hours is your decision!
To spare 1 hour 3-5 times per week to work toward your goals shouldn't be impossible.
.
🔑CONSISTENCY
Being successful requires consistency!
No matter what we do in life, we will not achieve the success we want unless we work at it day in and day out consistently. The same goes for your fitness journey. You can have the best trainer in the world, and the best diet to follow, but if you don’t stick with it consistently, you will fail.
Don't get me wrong. I’m not saying you have to be perfect... giving your all 100% of the time
will just set you up for failure. The goal should be to follow your program the best you can with the time you have! The longer you stick with something the better you will become at it. Practice makes perfect!

🔑BE PATIENT
You didn’t gain all that weight overnight... and it’s not all going to come off overnight. It’s a slow process. Do not quit if you don’t see results right away!
Most people fail here - don't be one of them! Don't be a quitter!

🔑FIND YOUR PURPOSE
Dig deep and find the reason why you’re doing this. Find your why and remind yourself every single day. That’s the only way to stay in this on the long.
