1. Exercise - there is simply no substitute for this. Whether it’s going for a swim, a bike ride or lifting weights, get up & get moving!
TIP: Buy new workout clothes, it makes you feel good & is all the inspo you need.
2. Make healthier food choices - nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. Eat to nourish your body and give it the nutrients it needs.
TIP: Challenge yourself to find substitutes of your favourite ‘unhealthy’ food, for example making a chicken pie but with almond milk instead of cream.
3. Drink more water - it cleans up your skin and flushes your body of toxins, so next time you’re ordering a drink get that good H2O.
TIP: If you aren’t a fan of water, try adding fruit or a water enhancer. Aim to have a certain amount of water before a certain time.
4. Prioritise you - it’s okay to say no and it’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes. We spend so much time giving, whether that’s our attention, time or lending an ear but sometimes we need to switch off & do things that make US happy.
TIP: if you find it difficult to find some ‘you’ time, have a designated time each week in which you can do what you like & try to stick to it. 💕
