Nothing motivates me more than holiday pics, anyone with me?? 😁 Whatever your motivation is or your reason may be, make sure you are doing it for yourself. ⁣

I can’t stress enough how important it is to enjoy your own fitness journey, it will be challenging at times but you will soon learn to love even those days. 128 days until summer, we’ve got this 🙌🏽


I couldn’t think of a caption 🤷🏽‍♀️ So instead here’s a few facts about us:⁣

▫️ We go to the movies A LOT (seen 5 this month already) ⁣
▫️ We’ve travelled to 15 different countries together. ⁣▫️ We had two first dates, a few years apart.⁣
▫️ We’re both Gemini’s but have completely different personalities, I’m the crazy, spontaneous one & he’s the sensible, practical one!⁣
▫️ We moved in together the day we got into a relationship.⁣
▫️ We both love red wine, dark chocolate & Italian food, did I mention we love red wine? ⁣

Yeesh, this week has been tough! Anything that could have gone wrong, did 🤦🏽‍♀️ I've already faced some challenges this morning & it’s only 9am, but I have a choice: let it bring me down and affect my whole day or change my mindset and carry on pushing forward 🤔 We always have a choice. Have a good day guys!

Hellooo, Monday 👋🏽 Who’s getting active today?? You can make changes RIGHT NOW to boost your mood and health ⬇️
1. Exercise - there is simply no substitute for this. Whether it’s going for a swim, a bike ride or lifting weights, get up & get moving!
TIP: Buy new workout clothes, it makes you feel good & is all the inspo you need.
2. Make healthier food choices - nothing tastes as good as healthy feels. Eat to nourish your body and give it the nutrients it needs.
TIP: Challenge yourself to find substitutes of your favourite ‘unhealthy’ food, for example making a chicken pie but with almond milk instead of cream.
3. Drink more water - it cleans up your skin and flushes your body of toxins, so next time you’re ordering a drink get that good H2O.
TIP: If you aren’t a fan of water, try adding fruit or a water enhancer. Aim to have a certain amount of water before a certain time.
4. Prioritise you - it’s okay to say no and it’s okay to be a little selfish sometimes. We spend so much time giving, whether that’s our attention, time or lending an ear but sometimes we need to switch off & do things that make US happy.
TIP: if you find it difficult to find some ‘you’ time, have a designated time each week in which you can do what you like & try to stick to it. 💕
