“Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” Anaïs Nin. I’m so grateful my brilliant friend @rodaworld and I found our way into each other’s lives. #loveandsisterhood
Last night, at the glorious opening night of #tinybeautifulthings at the @pasadenaplayhouse, @niavardalos and her cast mates blew us all away with their performances. To watch Nia play me while seated next to Reese, who also played me, was an experience I’ll never forget. I hope you’ll get to see the show! In Pasadena, it runs through May 5. Go, go, go!
The stunning @mountainfilm 2019 festival poster, by @jadepurplebrown. It so beautifully captures the spirit and intention of this festival that’s so dear to me and my family. #mountainfilm2019 #mountainfilm

Current view, somewhere above what I’ll guess is Nebraska. As I gaze out the window, I’m for some reason remembering being bullied in 5th grade for the grand crime of “smiling too much.” Which, in retrospect, is true. I did smile a rather lot. I still do. I’ve never been able to help it and I’ve come to feel grateful for that. So, dear world, I’m alone in the dark of an airplane, smiling at you.
